For example, once I saw a thief stealing a car and after a minute I met him again and bumped into him or he bumped into me. Today I was doing the taxi missions and I ran over a few peds which gave me 1 star of wanted level. After a few seconds a police car appeared (which is weird because police cars don't spawn when you have only 1 star) and started chasing me. I somehow lost it and kept doing fares. After I stopped to pick a fare the same police car found me again( I know it was the same one because it was a damaged police car - the hood fallen off and black smoke was coming out of the engine). I lost the wanted level near that restaurant in Callahan Point and the same police car drove right passed me as I was dropping my fare. Later on, I met this car again in another part of town and I'm damn sure it was the same one because it was damaged and police cars take a lot of time to damage that badly. This car also didn't disappear after it drove into the distance. On my last meet with it I accidentally bumped into it and it followed me to the Old School Hall where the cop got out of the car and disappeared as I moved away from him, but the car was still there for a long while. I stole a car, drove off, and then stopped by a bridge (I went to get a drink). I came back, and I see the same guy stealing his car back I swear, this has happened. Haha, I had the same thing in Vice City! I can very vaguely remember what it was, but I think I left a car (or it was a helicopter, not sure now), went to do missions, spent like 30-60 minutes playing, went to save past the place where I abandoned the helicopter and smashed into it! The only thing I remember for certain that it appeared out of the blue in front of me and I just about managed to stop before hitting it. I always thought that if some vehicle dissapears from your view the game delete it. It seems that GTA games in general sometimes do not delete vehicles when out of range. I used to leave cars unintentionally on the street to find them hours later still there. But this cop thingy was weird. It was like super realistic but weird. They are staying wherever they are even when you save your game and loading it any time. You can get rid of them only by bumping in the water. Has this glitch or whatever it is ever happened to you? I don't think that it's a glitch, the game was made that way. That's one of the reasons why I preferred Grand Theft Auto over Driver. If you steal a car, park it in a place, steal another car and then drive around town for fifteen minutes and come back to that same place, the car you originally stole will still be there. You can take a vehicle, park it, take another one, park it, run around the whole state, come back they will be there (unless a ped jacks them). Yeah I tried that tank thing too While having fun around, I spawned like 5-20 tanks to create a "nuke" (but some didn't explode) then when I went around Shoreside Vale for a while and went back to the hospital (that's where I spawned the tanks).
