That just causes repetition (cause we know everything about the person already), and makes the game boring. The only exception to that was Claude, as he was in GTA 1,2, and 3. Vercetti's son would have 31 years and Vercetti from III would be that old, that in a mission will die. Everything is possible at R*. I feel like he's popped up so much that the story should be finished. I mean most people would argue he's kinda old at this point, 36-38 if he was 18 in SA but he's my favorite protaganist, so I fee like we need to see him again. A small 1 I think would be the best because it wouldn't be shoving them down our throat. Similar to Avery in LCS. Or maybe even just seeing them on say tv or the internet or reading or hearing about them. I think references would be the best situation for a past character. As badass as it would be to say get missions from a CJ or Tommy I just think the only reason they'd be there is because R* could do it and I don't thin that's R* m.o. with having characters just because they can. Personally, I think the main should more loose, like the kind of guy who likes to party every once in a while. However, he shouldn't think too much of himself and act like a wise guy.
