Dark Wizard
Ok, last week I tried to connect my old PC to the Internet, but it failed, because I dunno what the heck happened with My Network Card. Anyway, I used to connect with this old PC on the Internet. After letting this sh*t away, I came back to it and I wanted to open it, but it won't open for hell. It restarts as soon as it passed the Windows Logo charging, when you open your PC. I tried Safe Mode and it woked... I don't have any experience yet, but what do I have to do to fix my PC? Wolf68k
Let me break this down and see if I got it right. When you boot normally the PC does not connect to the net, but when you boot into SafeMode with Networking it can connect just fine. Sound about right? If so, sounds like a virus or malware. I'd start off doing the regular cleaning stuff either way. Virus scan, spyware scan, reg cleaning, chkdsk and defrag.
Dark Wizard
No, when I am trying to open the PC normally, it restarts continuously but when I am putting it in SafeMode, it works.
Tornado Rex
Run chkdisk. Right click the drive. Go to Properties > Tools(tab) > and click the "Check Now" button under "Error Checking". Check both boxes. Click "Start". Yes to reboot and let it do it's thing. Otherwise if you boot into a Safe Mode Command Prompt I think you can run chkdisk.exe or something like that. ~ Proud Supporter of the Child's Play Charity! | GTANET + Child's Play ~
