Player Selector, Asi Loader Problem

I've installed everything correctly ( i think) and still when i push the * button nothing happends. I've tried asi loader and the liveless but nothing works... i've tried to reinstall the mods but it still doesn't work, Am i doing something worng or is it something i have forgoten to download or something? Ihave patched my game to 1.0.0.4 ( what's the difference between 1.0.4 and 1.0.0.4 ? ) and the player selector is 1.42 ( something like that)

Sounds like you're missing a Script Hook

 

Firstly you'll need to clear out everything you've installed, so nothing conflicts and you have a clean slate. (that is to delete all the liveless and asi loader stuff you already have).

 

You'll need three things

 

- ASI Loader http://www.gtagaming.com/downloads/gta-iv/tools/1976

- C++ Script Hook http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=390582

- Player Selector: http://www.gtagaming.com/downloads/gta-iv/script-mods/2423

 

Unzip them with 7zip (Google It), WinRar or whatever

 

Now onto the fun part,

 

1. Copy dsound.dll from the ASI loader folder into your root GTA IV directory (the one with gtaiv.exe or whatever)

2. Copy ScriptHook.dll from the Release folder inside the C++ Script Hook folder into your root GTA IV directory

3. Copy PlayerSelector.asi from the Player Selector into your root GTA IV directory

 

That should work.
