Just wondering if you are planning any contests for the future? It's been a while ( Long while ) without any.

 

 

I'm sure everyone will want to try and make a really good V.5 mission.

Any suggestions for a theme?

Here is some suggestions:

 

Military- Basically, DYOM missions that deal with military operations. They shouldn't be Rambo-like missions (ex. the sergeant tells you to do an objective, and you do it alone), they should focus on teamwork, and times of crisis. They should also have difficult shootouts with the enemy.

 

Assassin- Missions that deal with taking out a target, and require stealth and other stuff assassins do.

 

Police - Missions that deal with police intervention, getting the bad guy, stopping crime, etc. They should also have situations that really represent the police universe, not just showing the most common things we all see (ex. arresting people, killing somebody, shootouts, etc.). They also should be cutscene-heavy, just to show detail.

How about this :

 

1. Exciting Story Line (a long story at least consist of 3 parts, with exciting story)

 

2. Full Action (a mission that full of action)

Extensive missions... like make the player do gun fighting, pilot an helicopter, ride a car while his allies do a drive-by shooting, interesting storyline and last more than 15 minutes of length.

I think your best option will be to have a 'Mixed- Theme' contest. People will be able to make mission according to them. You just would have to judge the missions on their playability. Setting a theme might limit their creativity.
