Clearly, you cannot grasp how the deal went:

 

1.) MS pays over $50,000,000 for the downloadable content to be exclusive to the XBOX 360.

 

-- This contract basically specifies that they have to release it on the XBOX first, and no other consoles. It was an contractual obligation, and even if R* wanted to, they couldn't.

 

2.) R* decides not to pass such a deal up anyways, and bites.

 

3.) The contract expires, and R* can now release the DLC on the PC and PS3.

 

So you see, R* was stupid because they signed the contract, and not because they released it on the XBOX first.

We still don't know that this is a fact. They have not released any documents saying that this is what happened, and all we have to go on is some analyst's idea.

Now just for once Rockstar could have said "hey guys here is a thanks for your support" and released the DLC for the PC when it was ready.

I'm very disappointed in Rockstar.

 

PC users had to wait for GTA4 for HALF A YEAR after it was released for the PS3, but when PS3 players would have to wait 2 WEEKS longer than the PC players BECAUSE OF SONY "it doesn't feel right"?

It's not like we are just waiting 2 weeks here. We've been waiting for these episodes for a long time now. Then finally right when its around the corner you got another 2 weeks added which means the game isnt out for close to another month. It just feels like forever...

The issue is from PS3 version, which is explained in the newswire. How about the reason of PC version delayed? From my memory Sony isn't the first time to make the whole thing delayed, when the time back on the initial release for PS3 and Xbox360 which is originally scheduled for Oct 2007 but PS3 version made the whole thing delayed to Mar 2008. And now the reason for delayed is from the same source - Sony! Sony, DO YOU KNOW you're very very annoying???

Rockstar just drew their final straw for me, they can stuff their games where the sun doesn't shine... and that's saying alot, coming from a former die-hard fan.

Ah well, at least there's still gaming companies out there that do care for PC gaming... unlike them moneygrubbing whores from R*.

 

Funny thing is, I saw this delay coming from miles away, so it wasn't a really hard decision to make.

To all those still defending R*: Enjoy pulling your pants down for them and letting them break you in... I certainly won't.

The point is, 14 days & youre crying like a little girl. Life doesnt revolve around a video game. If youre really so upset about ONE video game so much then you must have a sad, sad life. While you sit in a dark corner in the fetile position come March 30, i'll be out with my woman, eating ice cream, enjoying life. And when EFLC is finally released, my life will get 0.01% better. But you have fun being mad; let me know how that works out for ya

Well i was getting me a xbox360 with about 10 games so 2 weeks may just fly buy.
