EFLC for PC/PS3 - delayed!

Exactly, that would just create more problems with PS3 users complaining to R* and Sony that the PC gets to go first and play it....blah..blah 

Then Rockstar could easily explain that the PS3 version was delayed at Sony's request. However right now PC users are being penalised for something that Sony are complaining about. Ask yourself this question though, lets say the roles had been reversed, lets say for a second the PC version was delayed by 2 weeks because of a technical problem, do you HONESTLY believe Rockstar would've delayed the PS3 version too so they could be "fair". No they damn well wouldn't have they would have told PC users to "like it or lump it".

 

 

Think yourself lucky that your even getting the game in the first place! Remember all the post from angry PC & PS3 fanboys just after BOGT was released on XBOX 360, you were all mad about it being unfair and everything, now your getting the 'exclusive' game, so be f*cking happy.

Erm no why should I "think myself lucky" why should I be "grateful" ? Rockstar want my money do they not ? That is why they are releasing the DLC on the PC and PS3 because they want us to buy their games. If anything Rockstar should consider themselves lucky that so many people are willing to hand over their hard earned cash when there is massive competition for gamers money these days.

 

 

And this is Sony's fault, not R*'s! - They just want what's best for everyone (that includes PC gamers having to wait the same length of time as PS3) So stop complaining, it's only 2 weeks it's not the end of the world.

Yes it is Sony's fault that PS3 users have to wait, it is NOT Sony's fault that PC users have to wait it is Rockstars fault they choose to hold the PC version back and then give you a bullsh*t excuse like "it wouldn't be fair".

I am not that bothered about the delay because I forgot all about GTA EFLC coming to the ps3 after playing the just cause 2 demo, this will just give me more time to enjoy the epic just cause 2 full game when it gets released on march 26th in europe

That's the Dick Move, as sad as it is though, why would Rockstar want to waste money launching a game twice within a month? If you really think they would of gone all out advertising the PC version for the 30th and make a big fuss about it (Magazine Ads, etc) and then two weeks later do the same for the PS3 version would of been a very odd choice and a money waster, considering these are most likely rush jobs anyway, I doubt they'd want to spend money promoting the same thing two weeks apart.

 

So yes, I'm putting it down to a business choice, a two week difference between two formats is too close. It makes business sense to hold one back so all promotion can happen at the same time, especially if they want to keep this launch within a budget.

 

Dick move, sort of, but really PC gamers are making themselves look like f*cking babies, man up and get a life, if this delay seriously ruined your whole break/holiday then f*ck sake find something else to do with your time to keep you occupied. I can understand where PC Gamers are coming from, lucky for me most games I play on PC come with that in mind (mainly TTG stuff), but really some of the comments here, you'd think Rockstar have just pissed on your kids!

Wow, GTA PC Gamers seem like a bunch of retards, I know, I shouldn't group you all together, and of course Idiots have a louder voice on the internet than sane people, but still, the amount of fuss kicked up by PC Gamers over this, boycotting the franchise, etc, you fools will still buy it in two weeks time!

Well I kind of agree but not all PC gamers are like that. I'm a PC gamer and while I'm not exactly happy about a delay, it's not the end of the world and I'll still be buying it when it's released.

 

For some people I guess its an inconvenience but I'm sure we'll all find a way to get time to play.

 

My only real concern about this news is regarding exactly what changes are being made, I seriously hope Sony are not censoring the game, or removing any content because of copyright...I'd also hope nothing extra is being added because I really think this whole exclusive idea is bad and only serves to split GTA fans, all fans should be treated equally regardless of their choice of platform.

 

Anyway delays are a normal part of any game, I cant think of too many games that didn't get delayed.

WOW you actually expect Rockstar to advertise and market this content on the PC ????? do you live in the same reality as the rest of us ? You just need to look at how they have handled the DLC so far, they haven't done a single thing to promote this DLC on the PC or the PS3 and I expect that trend to continue after it is released.

Well I am glad you appreciate this is a dick move, now how about you let people vent without you calling them "cry babies". I think it is a well established fact that PC gamers have had to put up with an inordinate amount of sh*t from Rockstar over the years and especially this past year. Yet there are many PC gamers that ardently still support this company no matter what. I would say PC gamers are quite possibly the most dedicated Rockstar fans of the lot they put up with substandard products, later launch dates and massive delays. Now just for once Rockstar could have said "hey guys here is a thanks for your support" and released the DLC for the PC when it was ready, but no they pull another dick head move on PC gamers, so let them vent if you don't like it then stay out of this topic and as Gangsta Killa said if you see someone going "f*ck Rockstar" then report them and ignore them they will be dealt with.

Well I don't consider myself a "loyal Rockstar fan" personally I think it's a chicken sh*t company that doesn't deserve the support of it's fanbase any more. However it will be GTA fans that buy this year old content for the PS3 and PC because the majority of the gaming public really don't give a f*ck about it to be honest.

 

I see you keep saying it is a "two week friggin delay" the point is the PC version does not need to be delayed by two weeks, they sure as hell wouldn't delay the PS3 version if that was ready and the PC version wasn't. 1) No I don't expect Rockstar to advertise the PC version, that's why it makes sense to hold it back so it can ride on the PS3 promotion.

 

2) If there was only two weeks, then it does stand a chance they would delay the console version, a less chance, but it's still there

 

3) Sony will be promoting this briefly as will gaming stores, Business Reasons means that the PC version can latch on to that promotion and get itself in the light, do you really think Rockstar would release the game and just let it slide under the radar? No, they'd hold it back until it could ride on another promotion

 

4) PC Gamers ARE being cry babies though, two faced cry babies, at least you Charlie have actually boycotted it, but 9/10 people here screaming and shouting and whining like idiots WILL still buy the game anyway, so if you're still buying the game you might as well make a rational comment, not make yourself look like a screaming c*nt over a little two week wait. I would think 2 separate release dates would cost double the amount of money to ship.

 

But at the end of the day, it doesn't matter why they're delaying both versions. You'll get the game, it's just coming later. You don't miss out on anything, nothing has been taken away. All R* games are delayed, it's just how it goes. I have every GTA and on multiple platforms, but I don't have this sense of entitlement that some of you do. You bought previous games from R* because you wanted to play those games, not as a gesture to R* in support.
