EFLC for PC/PS3 - delayed!

Then explain the PS3 Menues that we haven't seen before, and the Trophies Are Now Available notice when TLAD loads. And the Press Triangle to Save. If it is a fake then it's a very good one at that!

I hope PC gamers don't get the 'Menu Screen' where you have to choose either The Lost and Damned or The Ballad of Gay Tony. I really hope you just have two different shortcuts: one for TLAD and one for TBOGT.

Ok, I've looked up the release details myself on the EB intranet. The release date (Australia) is now looking like it's going to be:

 

Thursday, the 15th of April. (I double-checked; same day as the DSI XL)

I dunno who you spoke to, but either the date has been changed in the last week, or someone can't read a web page to save their life (given some of the people I know in the company, it could be either...). It's been 'street dated' to this date, so I think everyone's going to have it under lock and key till then (though there still isn't any sign of any shipment boxes). I still think it's annoying as hell that no-one even said anything about it besides releasing the damn date. Set your alarm clocks Ladies and Gents!

One person says one thing, another person says something different, but people always contradict each other.

I'm friendly with one of the EB managers and I spoke to him yesterday. He said it's not "street dated" and will go on the shelf as soon as they arrive, which expects to be first thing Thursday morning. He offered to open up early for me, but I'll be fast asleep at that hour.

Still....I can't f*cking wait!

 

 

 

*EDIT - It seems all you can do is call EB up on the phone daily, as their response changes like the wind.

I just called again five minutes ago and they're now saying that they expect the package to arrive on Wednesday.

like I said, it's probably due to the fact head office, in all their wisdom, have completely failed to include anything about the delay about it in any daily bulletins - I had to search for a release date (after assuming there was one).

 

The confusion is probably because it never initially HAD one for the release on the 30th. The delay however has mixed things up, so some people just still assume it'll be out when it's out, or others like us are a bit more on the ball and keep an eye on things.

 

I guess I should find out what store you're talking to, if only for the reason that when word of your shop selling it early gets out, everyone else has a green light to sell as well (meaning everybody gets it early! yay!)

 

btw, (this may be possibly old news) anyone else notice their PC game (after the update) now comes up with a menu screen asking whether you want to play the main game or dlc? currently it'll attempt to link you to the GFWL shop for it if you click the appropriate dlc (though that errors out since it's unavailable)
