I don't see why there is a 2 week delay of it though, I saw into the backroom if a Gamestop store due to all the employees disappearing and leaving the stockroom door open...

The EFLC disks are already in boxes in the stores with a giant "DO NOT OPEN UNTILL ???" sticker on them..

EFLC is worth the wait imo, it was great.

 

Sadly Sony screws everyone over again, but you knew this when you purchased your PS3 and made believe (the pun is real).

 

PC gamers are the real losers here, sure you get superiority generally with your games but the devs care the least for you guys.

I saw that post, it's not a confirmation though. The guy could just be f*cking around, or testing, or something.. R* did promise an EFLC trailer, I just hope they weren't hinting to that black-white dancecrap.

Just got off work, and well, no news regarding EFLC. Yeah, zero. Not even an official announcement from head office that it's even delayed. I had to tell my manager to re-date the promo boxes with the April 13th date that I read from here, actually.

 

The Australian EB besides name has pretty much no real tangible connection to the US EB or gamestop - the whole AUS/NZ arm is basically run as a separate entity, from logistics, advertising, operating procedures, etc. so I assume that the US stores have some sort of 'unofficial' internal street date with some sort of directive or another. In Australia though, it'd be a safe bet the no retailer has a copy of it yet, they're all probably still sitting on pallets in some random warehouse. (though the K-mart VIC distribution centre is halfway between the city and Point Cook, if you're really that desperate you may want to 'check things out' )

 

The best bet to get it as early as possible (without using guerrilla tactics) is to pay a visit to your store on the 12th, bout an hour or two before closing. If it came in a box that day, it might be possible that the staff have been too busy to open it yet - you can probably ask the staff if the box has come in yet (they can check on their computer system) and, if it's there, and you're polite, can probably get them to open said box and sell you a copy. Just don't bother trying that on anything that's street-dated though - pretty much every game clerk has it drilled in their head that a personal $15,000 fine isn't worth it.

 

(oh, yeah, also make sure you have something on you that says you're over 15 too btw )

Interesting......I rang my local EB store yesterday and they insisted that April 16th is a "street date".

If that really is the case, then nobody is going to sell EFLC prior to that date.
