mattsack
I wanna know is the vice city mainland actually connected to continental florida (Like Alderney in GTA 4), with the rest just cut out? Or is it a true island in the florida keys. Im trying to make a map for what gta 5 would look like and this would help out thanks!
Tommy Dickfingers
It is just an island. Or maybe it's classed as a group of islands (an archipelago, if you will)
Hmmm nice bike
Actually, I think VC is connected to the rest of Florida, with the rest of the state being unseen by the player. The western island is referred to as the "mainland," like GTA III's Shoreside Vale.
Spuds725
ditto-- the beach side (east) is supposed to be on the ocean side... kind of like barrier islands in florida-- daytona, tampa, miami all have these-- essentially reefs that got covered with sand.
