Griselda Blanco (aka The Mafia Lady/The Godmother/The Black Widow) She used to work with the Ochoa/Medellin drug cartel just like Pablo Escobar who most of you should have heard of. She was extremely violent and brutal, responsible for countless murders and made billions trafficking drugs into the United States. She started "dating" a gangbanger named Charles Cosby (2nd picture, on the right) when she was in prison and introduced him deeper into the drug business. I think it just depends on how they make her. There are always gonna be issues with who you play as. The point is if the games has a good story or not. Since GTA is already at the top, they can pretty much do almost anything and their fans would still buy the game (case in point, not getting an 'info' on GTAV which makes the fans mad yet they'll still buy it @ $60). I've said it elsewhere and I'll say it again - the protagonists in GTA all fire guns and steal cars the same way. If we had a female one, people would go be all "OMG!" for a bit, start playing and forgetting if she's Niko or Nicole. It could definitely be bad ass as you point out, but aside from a sexy killer to look at while inflicting pain everywhere, I feel R* would tone down their raunchy ways even more and I'm kind of hoping they will swing the other direction again. I like dick jokes. How ever if they did choose to go the female protag route, I would trust still that they did it for a reason and it would be pretty epic. Tomb Raider was basically proto-sandbox, as much as any 3D game could be in its time. 3D GTA took its third-person behind the back perspective and expanded the world from an enclosure like a cave or tomb into an open world. Because that's just how GTA works. GTA protagonists do everything the same way, for the most part, and did not even evolve discernible dynamic personalities until relatively recently in the series' history. Starting with Niko, really, and people will even debate that one. That's the primary reason why I'm not as opposed to this. What's more important is that Rockstar are influenced by how the media, film and television portrays the criminal underworld. And again, men are the default gender of choice. Maybe you should try to get your heads out of your asses and consider reality. That woman was/is (last photographed 2007) tougher than most men, was responsible for hundreds of murders and had criminal connections that most "gangsters", including each and every character in any GTA so far, could only dream of. Elizabeta Torres... lol. She sold less coke in her entire career than Griselda Blanco sold in an hour - and in real life. I'd be just fine with a female protagonist or more female mission givers, whether as DLC or in the main game. And who says you couldn't still pick up and kill hookers?
