I click on the icon on my screen then the black screen shows then it just goes back to my background and says resc10 fatal error. it also says application error "the instruction at 0x00c9a5ac referenced memory at 0xdddddddd. the memory could not be written." like cmon im dying to play this game for like ever and like i spended about +10 hours trying to find out how to fix it. i got service pack 3 , i rebooted my labtop, and i tried to download the new patch but then it showed a microsoft website asking to search the web. please i just want to play gta iv online so bad. i also went to yahoo answers and set up an account just to ask that question! so can someone help me?? i have a vista pc Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
viometrix Posted March 16, 2010 Share Posted March 16, 2010 you said the word laptop. that may be your problem there. please post your specs - amount of ram, processor type and speed, video adapter... and just how old is that laptop. i am betting your graphics card, or lack of one is the problem.
