Spuds725 Posted March 18, 2010 Share Posted March 18, 2010 Gotcha... I have actually seen this twice... once with a random and another time deejay... it was not me that was skipping it but they were. I don't recall what caused it... I want to say deejay was hit by the van arriving when it occured to him-- maybe knocked him out of the area-- I've tried to repeat this doing different things.. jumping away at the last second... no luck. When this occurs-- the cutscene plays normally but the player skipping it is visible in the cutscene with their marker or what not still there, you can see them there walking around or what not.... the first time it was real funny as the guy walked over to near where the guy says "mr. petrovic says you would need this good luck" and he was standing there next to the guy saying it... I believe when this occured to deejay that he never got the markers for the ship and I don't think he even could see the helicopter, I recall we left deejay behind and king and I did the ship part... I honestly don't recall-- happened last summer/fall when we were helping GTAKING rank up for his platinum doing alot of co-op missions... It could be a poor connection issue causing it... I believe the OP was hoping that the "glitch" could be exploited for 1 or 2 players to take the heli (assuming it spawns outside the cut scene at the beginning of it rather then the end) to cut off some time... That is really odd, but possible. I've never seen it and made BDBII dozens of times to rank and to Coop... And i've done some crazy sh*t while speeding in a car in the bridge that accesses it... R*'s idea is to do it even with the cutscenes (and therefore clock keeps running), in order to keep it difficult (like clock never stops while on single player cutscenes). 88mgt Posted April 10, 2010 Author Share Posted April 10, 2010 I was originaly thinking you could just get in a second heli and leave before the other players spawn. It just takes to long to get the other one there(1.30 or so). Then the other player spawns and takes the heli they give you to set other bomb. We had the fastest time and it got beat by almost five seconds so I was looking for anyway to do itn faster. It just takes a really really clean run, which is a pain in the @ss on bdb. I was playing with my friend and he and another guy got in the chopper while I was watching the part that says "Mr Petrovic said you would need this, good luck" Those guys said that part didn't play for them. It did make us a little faster because they were ready to go when I got in. I was the host so usually I would have had to wait for them. Probably only saved 2-3 seconds though. He had longer loading-screen while cutscene already run for me. I run normal into heli after scene, only he didnt come... just stood there with hands in his pockets and watched the cutscene.
