Blind Joe Death Posted March 16, 2010 Share Posted March 16, 2010 Usually found in horror and zombie related flicks that are so awfully directed, written, acted and shot that you laugh more than any 'comedy' could ever make you. I personally love them and go out of my way to find them and watch them; it's become a bit of a hobby of mine. Recently watched a zombie movie by the name of Zombies! Zombies! Zombies! (ha, go figure) and artistically speaking it was horrendous...but overall it was utterly entertaining and absolutely hilarious. Compilation clips of two bad movies I found today and now want to see: Hahahahaha. So, anybody else enjoy watching a good ol' bad movie? I've heard that Plan 9 from Outer Space is supposedly one of the worst movies ever made, so definitely going to check that out one day soon. Btw, I don't mean bad as in Twilight bad, you're obviously missing the point if that first came to mind, because that movie is in no way enjoyable or funny...just embarrassing. That brought back some memories. This is that special breed of bad movies that just seems entirely content to be sub par in every respect. First of all, anything by Andy "I don't think getting dead was on their agenda" Sidaris. He's like Ed Wood's and Russ Meyer's stillborn lovechild. It's all framed as softcore porn - but really indulges itself in the action genre. Terribly. Fantastically terribly. Peek-a-boom! And how could this topic survive without possibly the best worst bad good B level aiming for an A- movie ever? The spiritual successor to Die Hard, starring a whoreltte so completely and utterly drugged that they had to feed her lines to her with an earpiece just so she could make it through each scene? SKYSCRAPER! Here's the best scene, her versus Malibu from American Gladiators. Finally, It falls a little outside the realm of this topic, but hell, they were goin for it. Sliding the horse is the best part. Also, the very visible mask around him when the explosions go off at the end. There's also this great movie with the whole cast as children - it's a cop movie, I think, with an epic shootout. I can't find the title or a clip. And of course, anything by The Asylum. Anybody seen the awful and disgusting revenge movie "I spit on your grave" or it's other name "Day of the woman" ?. I thought it would be like Death Wish but it just turned out to be a low budget movie with too much nudity and blood. I couldn't find any good montages of this movie, a scifi original gem called "Abominable", but I was able to find it broken up into segments on youtube. I've included my favorite scene from the movie, even though it doesn't have my hero, lance henriksen in it. I'm not sure if it's the fact that the sasquatch in the movie looks like John Ratzenberger from "Cheers", or when the azn girl gets stomped and looks like a watermelon at a Gallagher show, but I love the sh*t out of this movie. Love it. I'll admit, maybe it's my friends whoring the sh*t out of it that made me dislike it, but I'm not into it. It was funny once, but I couldn't really handle it more than that, especially the 100 times my friends watched it last summer. Now if you want a movie that's so bad it's good, go see ZARDOZ.
