49 Oysters

I've went over every location twice and I still can't find the one I'm missing.

 

Any suggestions? Which one is the easiest to overlook? etc. etc.

The next best is a really good map. You won't have to save/alt-tab to get to the information.

print off the map. Put it in a page protector. Get a China marker to tic them off as you find them. (China marker is also called a Grease pencil, a waxy easily wipeable 'crayon')

I'm on PS2 so downloads won't help.

 

I used that same oyster map in order from 1 to 50. Some how I still missed one. I guess I'll just make another round.

 

I know for certain that I got all of the ones in Los Santos, Countryside, Las Venturas, Bayside, and Desert.

 

It's got to be in the San Fierro area.

the odd ones:

In the Swimming Pool North/East Los Venturas.

In the Swimming Pool in Los Santos.

In the Pond under the bridge in the Ballas zone Park.

Boat House of Toreno's Ranch.

In the Submarine Pen at the naval base (4 star want if you don't get during a neutral mission.)

Man,......I'm just about to do this damn run on XBox360 for the first time.

 

(Because all my previous runs have been on PS2 v1)

 

 

The last thing I needed to consider was this curse of a pain in the ass occurring again.

 

Note to self: Print of Map of Oysters. Put Map in Page Protector. Use Grease Pencil to check off Oysters as they are collected.

 

I am off to buy a grease pencil!

This is the most random contribution I've ever made but anyways;

 

Have you collected the one in Madd Dogg's place's pool in Mulholland?

 

Otherwise just go through all of them with a map

Sometimes the game can glitch and not count the oyster in the hotel pool in north east LV. I had the same problem the fist time I tried to get 100% completion.
