Party Mode

Just contemplating putting on party mode and inviting my mates for a bit of fun. just wondering what you guys think of party mode,have you even played it. I know you get the comet in party mode (maybe my favorite car), are there any other differences?

Any stories, ideas of things to do.

Its handy for the xbox as we cant invite friends to a ranked TDM, but you can take your party to the lobby through party mode, but my understanding of the PS3 is that you don't have ranked/non ranked games just one type and you can invite anyone you like, so its not gonna be that handy for you.

 

You can however use it as a private free mode with friends so you can cruise in Comets, also when the DLC comes out its a handy place to pick up the annihilator in TLAD f*ck your friends up with some explosive rounds !!

I used PM alot when GTA was first out cause I was still a noob and didn't know how to make my own FM. Then once I found out how to host my own disallow rooms I stopped using it. but recently I have been using it more cause the map is exactly like the single player map as opposed to the FM map that has little stuff missing (latters, fire escapes, fences, even some grass FTW) also if you use PM to go to TDM then the random noobs can stay on there own team!

i'm the opposite didnt realise the benefits of party mode, always just joined a random game.

The only thing I didn't like about party mode is when you die you spawn all the way back at the party house.

so what differences did you notice from free mode and party mode?

 

i only noticed signs, ladders and such missing in other modes like cops and crooks

 

and yea party mode is useful for the simple fact that whoever is in your party stays no matter what games you head to
