mrpain
The only reason I'm getting it is because it includes my country. Other than that, I'm probably just renting it. This games dont interests me.

Why would you play a game if you have no interest in the sport? Is it Codemasters that are making this game? GRID and DIRT both have similar car handling in the game that would not suit an F1 game so i hope that it gets tweaked.

AnthMUFC-Champs
Yes codemasters make it and i love F1 so this game will fulfill my needs as there has not been any good racing games lately in my opinion.
Gezim
Hell yes. I loved the PS3 one. I played the demo a lot. Really looking forward to this one, I'm definitely a fan of formula.
Grand Theft Auto Dude
Looks like GRID, the circuits look amazing but the handling looks terrible. I've been playing rFactor for a few weeks, and a good F1 mod beats the hell out of this.

3niX
Well... I really hope they make it closer to a sim than GRID and Dirt. They definitely need to ditch the central pivot system if they want to make it a really good game. That system is just so dated and unsuitable for a racing game, let alone a sim. Id quite like to get it though. Oh, and someone needs to make a modern rally siim a la Richard Burns Rally.
Kryten.
Will probably play it. Been waiting for another F1 game for PC that doesn't require the mods to update the drivers/teams. Curious with the release date being towards the back end of the season rather than the start. Think it would sell a lot better if they were able to get it released towards the start of the season but they would have their reasons.

Explain to me why your getting the game when you have no interest in the sport. I'm only playing it to see how they made the Singapore track. This is the first racing game to include a track that is in Singapore. Other than that, racing games bore the hell out of me after playing it for a week. its_ceri_d
Will be getting this, love F1. Graphics look awesome, can't wait to see the new cars (it's the 2009 cars in the screenshots). The only thing I don't like the look of it the hud. I'd prefer to have the actual graphics from F1 broadcasts (preferably the new ones).

Yes the HUD looks a bit strange but other than this it looks great i wonder if we can customise the drivers car and clothing in season mode when you pass one season as that would top it off for me i have always wanted this feature also wanted in FIFA as well but with the kits. Ultimate Prosecutor
@Seddo Here's the developers diary on IGN. They say the handling is very different to GRID and DIRT because it is Formula 1. They've moved closer to Simulation and realism, and apparently it's going to be tricky at first. I can't wait. Must buy for me, unless the reviews stink. Seddo
Cheers for the video matey. It's good to see they've changed the handling then, after watching that it's notched up my excitement a bit more, looking forward to it.

Barry Spock
Thread Resurrection. I got this a few days ago. Anyone else playing it? It's great to see the tracks that they've been racing on this year. BUt I'm playing it on PS3 and the steering is pretty poor. It's a kind of on/off thing. Suzuka in Japan is h-a-r-d. ANyone, anyone? Brown Sugar
oh sh*t, there's another topic for this game, i made one before the game came out and nothing happened to it, but i got the game the day before it came out because i pre-orered it from play.com. I love it, there are lots of bugs but i'm just so glad there's finally another f1 game, i played f1 2009 on the wii too but this is so much better, I haven't played it in a while so i don't know what the patch has done but does anybody know if the patch fixed all the bugs? Barry Spock
It's difficult getting used to the no contact rule -- coming from GTA races. I'm going to start a proper 3 season campaign soon, but it seems like a bit of a commitment.

TommyMufc-Champs
I have a question. I signed a contract to be the senior driver at Virgin (about 5 races back) will I still get contract offers and which teams will want me? (I have won three races and I'm 5th with three races left)
