meta187
On the actual topic at hand, theology aside, I can see Creationism being taught as an alternate theory to Evolution Which one? I do agree that the creation stories should be taught, but in a theology class where the students learn about all (major) religions equally. Sure , why not. It's one of my favorite subjects aside from History and Philosophy and is a standard college level major why not have an early elective highschool level class introducing World Theology? Psycology and Social Studies have certainly made a positive impact on diversifying the curriculum so I'm all for it. ~ Studio: Q-13 Lounge / Q:13 Warrior Tunes / Interweb Chex Mix, yo.~
Otter
We actually learned a broad spectrum of theories in high school - ranging from creationism to evolution to spontaneous generation (a personal favorite). Without learning the full spectrum, how is one to be expected to actually make an intelligent judgment on what seems to be the most logical?
