Restelo94
I was snooping around the Rockstar Games website trying to see if they have a base in London (for me to apply for work experience) I then noticed the "jobs" section and I saw that they need a graphics programmer for " Implementing and extending features in our rendering pipeline that includes full shader support, advanced lighting/rendering techniques and special effects. • Working with the rest of the team to ensure the engine features and functionality are fully utilised for our upcoming 360/PS3 project. • Creative and innovative design of new engine features to ensure the project is at the forefront of technical innovation. • Co-writing technical design and software design documentation. Required: • Excellent C/C++ programming skills. • Strong understanding of Graphics/Rendering pipelines. • Extensive knowledge of Vertex and Pixel shaders. • Experience in identifying bottlenecks and optimising existing / future rendering code. • Knowledgeable in a variety of special FX techniques." I left the techy bits in so anyone with a bit of knowledge in that field can make sense of what could possibly be the inner workings of GTA V
All Nightmare Long
Definitely sounds like a game with the graphics and special FX. What will be different if London develops it?
maxopower
Definitely sounds interesting, but just because Rockstar is making it, and it got Graphics. Doesn’t it necessarily mean it’s another GTA. But nice find.

Tsuroki
I doubt that the GTA franchise would be pulled away from Rockstar North, but who knows? It's certainly plausible, especially now that R*North is also focusing on Agent. Edit: Thanks for the listing, D. I forgot about MP3 and LA Noire. Jabalous
The jobs were put in the studio website since 2007 , and we don't know yet if they have started developing their unannounced project or not because the jobs are still on their websites since 2007 which means that no one has taken any of these jobs yet . Look at the link : Here
ukchris
Rockstar North are the studio that makes GTA games usually, unless R* London are doing some sort of spin off. Only time will tell I guess.

PacketOverload_x64bit
The pre-requisites for the London office job are standard game programming abilities. It's those base understandings that they use to introduce you to the proprietary coding their coders do. OR at leasst that's what my crystal ball thinks. lol
Squishybubs
Well it's not Agent, because that would mean PS3 exclusive, and this is 360 and PS3. Plus Agent is already in development as far as I know. London... I think this is the best piece of info we've had yet.

Ash_735
It's not GTA, London have just been brought up to scratch with the next gen consoles, North have ALWAYS done GTA, why would Rockstar take that away from them? Each studio gets tasked with certain types of games, London have previously worked on Manhunt 2 and the PSP version of Midnight Club LA. We know San Diego is in overtime right now with RDR, North have both Agent and assuming next GTA in the early stages, Team Bondi are doing L.A.Noire, Rockstar are just the publishers, Vancouver are doing Max Payne 3, Toronto are most likely still fumbling with the PC version of GTA IV and EFLC to prep it up. That leaves New England (who ported Bully to 360) and London (working on a 360/PS3 project which is TBA), now, the TBA sparks my attention, we know Bully 2 is in the making, but Rockstar have yet to announce it. edit: plus I have to say you guys are a bunch of GTA nuts who buy anything, Rockstar do more than GTA you know, so each time you see one of the studios mention something, it isn't automatically LICOLN ARE WORKING ON GTA V NOW!!!11! PS: Lincoln are the testing studio, just to clarify in case that joke goes over some heads.
