The fun part is we have no idea when Rockstar will announce the next GTA, it could be tomorrow. Will you be as hyped as IV? IV was everything I DIDN'T think it'd be, and I still loved it! Now I'm very hyped for RDR and REALLY hyped for V even though we know nothing about it, R* have really got me around their finger. _Rob_ Posted March 15, 2010 Share Posted March 15, 2010 I'm looking forward to it, but after being slightly disappointed in IV I'm a little more careful about being hyped, I mean it was a good game but there were a lot of improvements to be made, saying that i hope they are implemented in Vice City 2 and that they release some logo and a countdown sometime soon , and I know nothing has been confirmed yet about the game but looks at the clues and you'll see why I am so confident about it being VC2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Some moron came on posting crap n distracted every1. Good ol' Mainland Marauder saw everyone had strayed off-topic and decided to end it...shame. That thread got me convinced something is just days away from being announced so yeah I'm hyped I guess! Meh, the DLCs were great, but they were pretty much finished when IV was released, they added a couple of vehicles and weapons and then of course the main work was to record cutscenes and make the missions work properly, but I doubt the floor guys had to work too much on that. It probably just took so long time because they were working on other projects as well, Agent and the next GTA, hopefully. All the "hype" has got me checking this section everyday To be honest, all I'm really getting excited about is where the game is gonna talk place in. Vice City? London? Bogota? Granted they've had DLC, but what you're failing to realise is that it's probably going to be a lot more quicker to build in terms of engine. They built GTA IV from the ground up and it'd only be common sense to use that engine. I'm not totally disregarding the possibility of a release early 2011, but late 2011? early 2012? That'd be a ridiculous move on Rockstar's part. Personally, I believe they are probably well in to development. Rockstar have many studios, some of which have helped develop other platform versions of GTA games. Totally unrelated but I read that Insomniac are making two games at once, if a 195 man team can make two games at once then Rockstar can. If they do have multiple titles going, then good for them but at the end of the day they know that it will pay off to get another GTA game out either this year or early next year at the latest. Prioritizing another game or two over GTA will throw them off and most likely the game quality will be affected as well as the release date. Episodes from Liberty in a fortnight, the missus is gettin me Heavy Rain for mi birthday next month and also RDR of course! Plenty to go on til the release!
