Nevermind looks like it still broken from 2000. http://xbox.joystiq.com/2008/05/02/sorry-n...ox-live-arcade/ Edited March 15, 2010 by Rattles
Sektor
It's not broken, it's meant to show a date a few weeks in the future. The manual has the phrase "Three weeks into the future. One teeming city. Seven streets gangs. Unlimited criminal opportunity". That article is wrong. It's not a countdown, it's an intentional addition to the current date. Zxirius.
Oh ok i got ya so a time for us and the proper game time? Just one last question. why the looping minute? It's not broken Fix'd that for ya. Uhh, no you didn't. It's not broken. Sektor has it right. The game clearly states this in it's manual, and I'd also know since I used to play GTA 2 all of the time. GTA 2 doesn't have a clear date, it's been said to take place in 2013, but then again the manual does state it takes place three weeks into the future. So, in turn, the countdown is like that for a reason. GTA 2 was the only GTA to not have a specific date or location (Anywhere, USA) for it's setting. So, Rockstar purposely did not make these clear when releasing the game, and the clock acts the way it does for that reason. It doesn't have any connection to any release dates, nor will it ever specifically give out the date GTA 2 is based on. It's just an old website that was intended to promote the game during it's release years. Simple as that. Edited May 6, 2010 by Zxirius
Sektor
Actually the minute looping instead of incrementing seems to be a bug or just something they didn't care about. The date being set in the future was intended.

Weirdo.
Actually the minute looping instead of incrementing seems to be a bug or just something they didn't care about. The date being set in the future was intended. Exactly, that's my point. That's what I meant. The regular time is all out of whack, making it broken.
