Guns N R0se
This game looks really promising. Sorta like a cross between Borderlands and TF2 imo. baptiste
That is one of the best game trailers i've ever seen. I wouldnt say it looks promising, but if gameplay comes close to that as far as classes and utility. Then hell yeah.

Absurdity
A delightfully put together little trailer that provides an extremely minimal amount of information about the game.

Vanillainy
Check out the actual gameplay. Looks like a cross between Mirrors Edge, Killzone 2 and Borderlands, which is awesome. 8 player co op? I'm down.
Absurdity
A delightfully put together little trailer that provides an extremely minimal amount of information about the game. More info and videos with gameplay on their site. That was actually just my clumsy attempt to be succinct with my observations of the trailer, GnR, I wasn't suggesting you should seek out the info for me lazy behind - if that's what you thought. A pet peeve I have for all these 'not actual game play' trailers which don't really tell me anything other than that the character design is quite pretty. The game-play videos do make it look vastly more entertaining. Definitely entertaining enough to keep an eye on.

Dnero
The environment really reminds me of Killzone 2, but seeing from the gameplay trailers it looks awesome. Can't wait for them to reveal the Online mode Definitely getting this...

Tchuck
God damn, it's been a year already. Did anyone pick this up? I got it, and it's pretty fun to play. Still working on unlocking stuff, gonna play a pretty swift medic!

JOSEPH X
This game is probably my next purchase, any reasons for and against this game so far would be appreciated There was a screengrab on another forum yesterday that has since been removed from tinypic by the user. Aparently there's a 40 minute video at the start of the game, which is introduced thus: "There is now a video made for console gamers, not used to objective based multiplayer. PC gamers may also find it entertaining" or words to that effect. Wouldn't touch such patronising guff with a barge pole. It made my blood boil - I was close to starting a Boycott Brink thread on here. It's recieved a resounding Meh/100 anyway - serves 'em right! I watched about 20mins live stream on release day and it's nothing special. Duke Nukem MP looks a lot of fun so I'm waiting for that.
OysterBarron
Yeah anyone whos got it i need a fair review, watched and read a couple of things and its not looking good at the moment.
nightwalker83
Cool! Although, I hope Brink isn't as drawn out as ElderScrolls, ES was too much of a good thing that it became boring after a while.

Aparently there's a 40 minute video at the start of the game, which is introduced thus: "There is now a video made for console gamers, not used to objective based multiplayer. PC gamers may also find it entertaining" or words to that effect. There is an intro video, which can be skipped, but it's nowhere NEAR 40 minutes. Maybe 5 at best. And it wasn't lying, most console gamers aren't used to objective based team oriented multiplayer. @oysterbarron THIS is imo, the least biased review so far. Stay away from joystiq and 1up, they bashed the game for no real reason, didn't even play the game the way it was supposed to be played. This is what I think of the game: -There's some bugs, like sound disappearing from the multiplayer, enemies turning invisible etc -The maps aren't too linear, which is good, but alternative routes are usually neglected by your team, usually focusing on the main bottleneck -There's some ocasional lag -When teamwork happens, the game is amazing. When it doesn't happen, game is still pretty fun -Jumping off places, running like mad, dodging to the ground, all pretty neatly done -Guns are very similar, there's isn't much creativity in them, yet! -The difference between the classes is the buffs they give out, as weaponwise they all can wield all -The challenges are hella fun, can't wait for them to pump out more My veredict: The game, as it is right now, is very playable and very fun. Since it just released, bugs are bound to appear. In a patch or two the game will be pretty awesome. It'll take some getting used to for those accostumed to doing stuff on their own. You CAN go alone in this game to fulfill another objective, and it often helps a lot, but teamwork is where it's at. If you have the money to spare, and want to have some fun, buy it now. If you're a bit weary, wait a month or so, when things will be more stable and less buggy, and then buy it.
trip
I just played [solo] for like 10 minutes. I have a beast of an alienware rig, and with everything turned up full, this game still kind of looked like the original duke nukem3D. I'm usually one who can let graphics go for gameplay, but when it comes to something that is just another shooter type - I hate to say graphics matter now a days. Daz
I just got the Tough as Nails achievement, f*ck yeah. If anyone has this on the 360 and wants to play, let me know. I need help getting the Spot an enemy in disguise, and, Spot an enemy mine that gets defused, achievements. Nobody uses disguises or defuses mines, its pissing me off and I need to find someone who actually bought this f*cking game to help me.
KilnerLUFC
Just a heads up for those who have the game...in other words, some random warning that I wanted to share... Well another chapter in the hacking community is about to written by the looks of it and this time players of Brink are the target. Lulzsec is the group that attacked Sony Music recently and stole over a million members data and cost the company a lot of lost revenue by publishing voucher codes. Now it appears that the group is planning on attacking players of Brink in the near future, but the question is what are they planning on doing? The following tweet was posted by them; "We were going to keep this little treasure chest to ourselves, but it appears the hand has been bitten. Say your prayers, Brink users. >:]"
