Countdown clock?

I`ve been trying to get a countdown clock into my sig for a while now. There's a lot of free CC generators out there, but when I put the code given to me into the box, only the code shows up. The best I`ve been able to get so far is a clicky.

Ask GTArv. Last year, before the SRS Mega Meet, he had a countdown in his signature. If he managed to use it then there must be some script that GTAF can handle. Edited March 14, 2010 by The Guru

You can't put flash scripts to your signature.

It appears that GTArv made the countdown by himself. Other than the procedure that GTArv used, it is impossible to apply a countdown into your signature.

it can be done trough gif, you need some brain to do this

 

you need to split the countdown in parts

 

first part must move like a month

second part is the day

third part is hour

fourth part is minutes

and fifth is the seconds

 

for example you need to set minutes to change at 60 seconds difference

Ahh, I didn't think of that. But what about when it comes to months, since not all months have the same number of days but would you have to set that up manually?

you will have to change it every month indeed

flash script would be a very easy but is not supported

But surely if it was set as a GIF it would just replay again from the beginning when the page is reloaded?

You could make a PHP script to create a static image with the current time when the image loads. You'd have less styling options, although, you could make it output a different image for each number, so it looks cooler. I've never worked with PHP images, so I wouldn't know how to make one, though.
