I hope to finish this soon. Characters: Protagonist: Patrick McReary (Packie) Age: 31 Bio: A former member of the Irish Mob and the youngest brother of the McReary family. After the events of BoGT, Packie flies out of Liberty City and into Hogan International Airport in Beantown. James Henderson (Jimmy) Age: 37 Bio: Packie meets Jimmy on the plane as he flies into Hogan Intl. Airport. Packie is annoyed with Jimmy from the get-go but is forced to sit next to him on the plane ride. An un expected event occurs causing Jimmy to save Packies life. Jimmy then decides to show Packie around Beantown. The two end up being best friends. MORE COMING SOON! Year: 2010 Islands: Beantown - (Boston, MA) The most populated and crime ridden area in the game. Surrounding areas include west MA (rural areas) and Cape Haddock to the East. Namchester - (Manchester, NH) A small city surrounded by rural neighborhoods. To the north are the white mountains, further north is Canada. Very similar to the south part of San Fierro in GTA SA. Canada - (Toronto, Canada) After the mission, Oh Canada, the protagonist gains access to Canada. It costs money to cross the border. Different laws apply on this island. Oldport - (Newport, RI) The smallest of the major islands. This sea side city is home to several mansions and estates. There is snow. While you may see snow while in Canada or on Mount Clinton, you may not see any in Oldport or Cape Haddock. The time of year is late fall and it stays that way, guaranteeing everybody the chance to see snow. With a snowy and icy terrain, comes vehicles that adapt to it... Rather than adding tons of new vehicles every game, this time its gonna be vehicles from past games, with different year models. Returning Vehicles that werent in GTA 4: - Stinger - Cheetah - Sadler - Yosemite - Mesa - Deluxo - Quad - Stuntplane - Nevada - Mountain Bike - BMX Models: - All vehicles have an 80's, a 90's and a 2000's varient. Some cars won't though because of the time they were first made and the time they stopped being made. New: - Skateboard - Snowboard - only in minigame. - Skis - only in minigame. 4x4: Some vehicles come with 4 weel drive. Any vehicle can be modded to have it. Police: - 50% of police drive Crown Vics - 30% drive Impalas and Chargers. - 10% drive boats, dirtbikes, and ranchers. - 5% are undercover. - 3% drive swat. - 2% drive coquettes. Taxi: - regular. - impala. - minivan. - other. Ambulance: - Regular - Van **Vehicles drive the same as in IV, but they stall more and swerve when in snow at high speeds.** Combat: (mostly the same as IV) Since a large portion of the mpa is woodland, using trees as cover is essential. It is also possible to climb a tree and snipe people. When on a branch, your enemy could shoot the branch or ram the tree with a car, causing you to fall. Any tree with low branches is possible to climb. Shooting while in the water is now possible. Blocking is easier. Auto Theft: Stealing cars isn't just about pressing Y or triangle. A hotwiring minigame will open up upon entering a vehicle that isnt yours. EDIT: The online TV is pretty much pointless when you already have a TV in your safehouse. Unless you meant the online TV to be catch-up/on demand type layout. Sorry about the miley cyrus I would lmao if it was in a gta game though. Eric Cartmans pokerface is 100% better than gagas. I cant believe I missed it. @The Gurus logo: I like yours and I like mine. Well, I like the color of the green in mine better , yours gives it a older, almost spooky feel to it and I like that because it describes New England. This will leave rough edges but if you want smooth, make them again. The white around them has been removed and the Game logo is enlarged. Tomorrow I will start writing the story and hopefully a mission or two. The other is Packie taking off in a plane at the end of TBoGT. The last one is admittedly a bit of a stretch, but when think of Irish Americans, Boston is one of the first places that comes to mind. The idea for this was heavily influenced by The Departed. As for the northeast, I understand, but New England is really different from New York. Yes, the Canada area would be a small version of Toronto. The cultural differences between the New England islands and Canada would be almost overwhelming.
