Hove Beach
IV was revolutionary in the graphics and the next GTA will therefore probably have more or less similar graphics. That makes it possible to fly between the two locations! The new one and LC. I think it would be really cool. It could also be a part of the storyline, you could have a friend there, you could be forced to run away and flee to LC or maybe start off in LC and then go to the new location or do a couple of missions over there. More or less time over there doesn't really matter, so would you enjoy this? Give me your point of view! Mokrie Dela
Nah. I liked LC, but it's time to move on. New game, new city. It would be cool to maybe have a mission like in SA where u return to LC, but only a small part of it.... maybe a niko camoe The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing. Matt21
Now being able to fly between updated versions of San andreas and Vice city would be great! lol it won't happen though. I'll keep dreaming. Like the guy above me said, probz won't be possible because of the space issue.

Hmmm nice bike
I never played through SA but I read here that you went to LC in a mission is that true? If it is then why not in V!? Yes, we visited GTA III's LC in San Andreas in one mission. The thing is, we didn't get to see the entire LC. We only got a portion of Portland, and we are limited to only Marco's Bistro (we are kept from going elsewhere without cheats or mods). Maybe they could do something like that in the next GTA, but we would only see a small portion of LC.

BrownBear
I think it would be cool to go to a certain location in liberty city for one mission like saint marks in san andreas.
SilentSeas
As much as I like LC, I think it would be a waste of space. If we're gonna have two locations, I'd prefer to see new ones instead of having LC included.

No i wrote that IV and V will have similar graphics witch makes it possible to fly between them, without it being weird. ckasper502
for the people saying it would not be possable why not ? ( example ) the 360 has the option to DL to HD, If the game came in a 2 or 3 disk set and let you DL the map/maps of the other citys and use the main disk to play/run the game it would work -- correct me if im wrong but didnt forza 3 and mass effect 2 do something like this ( dont know for sure as i havent played them )

Hove Beach
Okay good that we got that straighten out, so how much time or missions do you think you should, if possible of course, spend in LC?

Hmmm nice bike
Don't double post, just be patient. Someone will post soon enough. Anyway, I guess I'll give my opinion. If we do visit LC again in the next game, it will likely be like how it was in San Andreas. One mission, and only a small portion of the city available (like, maybe a block or two) with no driving. Jabalous
Maybe we will get a short visit to Liberty City in order to do a specific mission , like we got a short visit to Liberty City in San Andreas .

timthelegend93
i think it would be cool if u had to work for some mob for a while, and they gave u a tag like on transporter where if u go to far away from the people with you it explodes, but u only have it while you there. this would allow you to walk around, but risk getting killed by walking too far away

He's probably taking the logic that V will use GTA IV's engine, therefore the graphics looking simular, but a bit more polished. Think VC to GTA III. Same game engine/graphics but improved. Yeah, but why do you think V will have similar graphics? Since it is a new era, new graphics would seem more possible. IV was almost the start and has become a model for this era/ new generation games. So I guess that's why I don't see another revolutionary improving in the graphics departement in the next GTA. It's hard to remake the graphics and they've got perfect response from around the world so they'll probably stick to this engine for at least one more GTA game. For example, even though R's Red Dead Redemtion is in the wild west and mostly takes place in a very rural environment it's still not that different from IV, if you ask me... Anyway back to topic I agree with you guys that it will and should only be one or two missions in LC. Now we can just hope that Liberty City will reappear in V! If LC is compatible with the next GTA game, graphics-wise, then "hell yes" I say to using LC for a mission or two. It would be cool to land at the LC airport and do a drug deal or hit somewhere in LC with updated weapons, etc. Subtle changes could be made to LC if the next full game takes place post IV, such as having some of the ongoing construction projects completed (in Castle Gardens and Bohan). OR maybe come to LC during a different season, like Fall. Now that would take the LC we're all used to (or sick of) and give it a face-lift that shouldn't be too difficult to pull off. But for those of you that say it won't all fit on a DVD, then possibly make the LC mission(s) optional for those of us who have GTA IV or EFLC on our hard drives. It would be interesting even to be able to use the LC map in multiplayer with the new guns, weapons, vehicles, etc. Maybe going back to LC for some winter missions could be part of a GTA IV Something DLC. ? I still am amazed at the detail of depth of LC when I play GTA so it would be cool to go there again, with a few updates, in future episodes. Rockstar is quite clever, indeed. as some have mentioned, the new age of graphics that LC has looks great and probably has improved via tweeks and R*'s seasoned familiarity with the graphics and physics engines. I tend to find myself imagining R* using the worlds of GTA IV, RDR, the next GTA game, and whatever else they develop in between as spare parts to ultimately develop a sort of game (perhaps the final GTA using this engine) where ALL of these maps could be used, if each gamer owns one or more of the maps, as a sort of Rockstar Virtual Country. RDR's background could have some desert highways added, maybe a military base, a bunny ranch, and other modern details to convert it into a GTA map. but hell, who knows what R* will do? I doubt that they will disappoint. (I hope)
Lazy Squirrel PT
I don't see them using RDR's map for GTA, but if they ever make a new San Andreas-type game they'll look very similar for sure. And by the way, I'll eat my hat if RDR's not in the same world as GTA. I bet the train company in RDR is Brown Streak lol. And in the next GTA they'll mention New Austin, West Elizabeth, Nuevo Paradiso etc. like they currently mention Vice City and San Andreas in the media.
