I CAN'T UNINSTALL GTA: LC2SA

Hey, So i just Installed LC2SA Mod, and it wont uninstall, I Downloaded it, and everything needed, but it didnt have any uninstalling program, and now i cant uninstall it.... what can i do ?

To get rid of Mods, just do a simple Un-install of the entire game(there will be left over files int he install directory and nothing in the User Files Folder get touched), so after the complete un-install delete the .set file in the User Files Folder AND any and all saves created using the mod. Then do a re-install and everything should be fine.

 

Please note, if you have Vista or 7, there may be "hidden" files left that you can't see. Lil Weasal and Girish know how to fix this problem, so if this happens to be the case, i'll have to let one of them tell that step. Just a head up.

That's pretty much the only way to get rid of the mod, but don't worry, since the User Files Folder in My Documents is not touched, you will not lose any saves. It only takes about 5 minutes to un-install/re-install the game. The only thing you have to delete manually, are the files pertaining to the mod, the .set file, and any save(s) you made using the mod. This is also the easiest method, and since you have XP, it should be a lot faster process.
