Join the LCSP (Liberty City State Police) We are a clan who roleplays on XBL in GTA IV TBOGT,You can either apply to be a Cop or a Crook. In the Liberty City State Police we aim to play as realistic as we can(If you don't want to roleplay realisticaly then I think you should leave this thread right now.)this means we use proper police codes,so in a patrol you will be using police codes. Being a police officer in liberty city is a really diverse and complexed job,one moment you could be dealing with a traffic offense then the next you could be dealing with a bank robbery. To be a police officer you would have to apply then if your application is accepted you will be interviewed and eventually trained. To be a crook you will have to apply to be one and if you are accepted you will be interviewed and trained,being a crook does not mean you will always be in shootouts and killing people,you should not always get into shootouts as a crook. If you're still unsure abot joining or not then you could book an observation of a patrol where you will ride along in one of the officers cars to see what its like. Rules and Police codes are here: Rules For The Clan: UNIVERSAL LAWS •If you see a crime or vehicle accident, you should report it to the Police Department. •Must yield to Emergency Vehicles. Vehicles with no license plates are prohibited from ROADWAY. •If you are seen with any weapon at the Prison or Police Departments you will be shot on sight without warning. •No shooting, assaulting, interfering, physical contact at the Police Departments/Prison, Permitted to Civilians only. •Crouching is a sign of giving up. If you are told to get crouched and you comply, you cannot resist or you will be shot. •Freedom of religion, of speech, of the press, to petition, and to assemble. •The right to keep and bear arms, not to show in public, If shown you can be shot. •You should call 911 (a commanding officer on the police side) to report a crime or aid to yourself or someone else. •If an officer feels you are going too fast for the area, that is probable cause to initiate a stop. •Base jumps are not permitted while in a pursuit •NO TRESSPASSING BETWEEN 22:00-06:00 @: AUTO EROTICAR, MOTORCYCLE DEALERSHIP, PORT TUTOR, OLD CASINO, BEACH, LAUNDRY MAT, GUN SHOP, SPUNK FACTORY, BARS/CLUBS, BASE JUMPS, MUSEUM, POLICE DEPARTMENT / PRISON, STAR JUNCTION, CHINATOWN, FISHMARKET, CITY HALL, CASTLE GARDENS. •NO LOITERING @: PARKING GARAGE, CHURCH, BUS TERMINAL, HONKERS, GAS STATIONS, BASE JUMPS. CIVILIAN GUIDELINES •Once given a sentence by Police you must serve it at PRISON/LOCAL PD immediately. •If your license is suspended for whatever reason, & caught violating suspension, you can be arrested and sent to jail for an additional 1 hour and further sentencing is possible. •Civilians cannot drive exotic cars (Infernus, Banshee, GT, etc.) •During a Police Investigation, civilians cannot use health packets or armor. •Civilians cannot fly helicopters OR DRIVE EMERGENCY VEHICLES. •Civilians can only cause/participate in one major crime (Shootout, standoff) during each patrol. •Civilians cannot use rocket launchers, grenade launchers, C4's. If found using these weapons they will be removed from the patrol with disciplinary actions. •After 5 minutes into the game (55:00 left), the police are always ready. •Civilians CANNOT hide their dot/"gamertag" or it counts as interfering charge. •CANNOT INTERFERE WITH POLICE INVESTIGATION OR YOU CAN BE SHOT/SENTENCED TO JAIL. POLICE GUIDELINES •Police Officers should obey traffic laws when not responding to a call. •If responding to a call Police Officers do not have to put sirens on depending on the situation, but should turn on sirens at intersections or to clear traffic. •Police Officers are only allowed to use weapons that are assigned to there ranks. Failure to abide by these rules will have you removed from the patrol with disciplinary actions. •Police Officers need to obey the levels of force: Do Not Shoot Unless You Feel Your Life Or Others' Lives Are In Danger. •Every Officer needs to obey those who are higher ranking than him. •Police Officers should be professional and respectful while on duty. PURSUIT RULES •Cops cannot shoot out the tires on a criminal's vehicle unless they become a threat to the public. (hitting other vehicles, driving on sidewalks, hitting objects not on road). Must Obtain Supervisor's Permission. •Ramming, P.I.T.S., Blocking are not allowed unless you have obtained Supervisor's Permission. •If shots are being fired by suspect(s), police can shoot to kill. •If an Officer is attempted to be ran over, he/she can shoot to kill. •Neither Criminals nor Police can walk/run over health packets, body armor, weapons during a Pursuit. •In a foot pursuit, if you do not give up, you can be shot. •If you flee to another city in a vehicle of any sort your vehicle will be shot without warning. •If you flee on foot in water, you will be shot without warning JURISDICTION GUIDELINES •The Police only cover the city they start in, but in light of a pursuit they can continue depending on higher ranking Officers' call. •Police Officers may stop a civilian in another city if they have broken the law or the Officer has reasonal suspicion that they have or will commit a crime. SENTENCING GIVEN BY POLICE SUPERVISOR •The max time a suspect can serve is only 5 hours(5mins real time) in game time per sentence. •3 of any charge is a 1 hour in game sentence in jail. •If you kill a cop, you serve 2 hours(2mins real time) game time once caught by police. Criminals can appeal sentences to the Acting Supervisor.
