Markk
When I'm driving or walking, I suddenly lag a lot, and 1 minute in the game normally takes 1 second in real life, but for me when I lag it takes about 5 seconds. Now why does this happen? The only unusual thing I found was this: Those things that are boxed in red are not suppose to be there. I'm guessing that some large models are being loaded for no reason. More Pictures: How can I fix this? By the way, I also noticed this only appears in Los Santos, and sometimes in San Fierro (not sure, I think it happened like once?). I haven't seen it in Las Venturas at all yet. This happens every time I play the game in Los Santos. Its strange. YES MY GAME IS MODDED Platform: Windows XP Home Edition SP3 (5.1, Build 2600) RAM: 448MB DDR1 RAM (Shared with video card) CPU: AMD Athlon XP +3200 2.2GHz, MMX, 3DNow DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904) Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 4 MX Integrated GPU 64MB Sound: NVIDIA nForce Audio (Driver Version 6.14.0442.000) WHQL Certified History: No, this is not my first install on this computer, and I have never had this problem before. (Sorry, I don't know the version of my GTA:SA, but I know it can run CLEO.) HERE is a detailed report of my computer specifications. EDIT: NOW GTA_SA.EXE WONT EVEN OPEN. I added a few vehicles and yes, I did rebuild the archive, an it suddenly stopped working. It worked a few hours before. When I click "run as..." then choose current user, it says vorbisFile.dll could not be found, but its there. I tried replacing it with a new one, but it still doesn't work. SlicedBread
I would really suggest re-installing San Andreas, then adding your mods in one at a time then playing the game, that way you'll know which of them is causing the problem. It could also be that some of your mods are clashing with eachother.
Markk
Yeah, I removed almost all mods. I removed the vehicles, buildings, some better texture mods. All I have now is weapons and I have better effects mods still there, but those have always worked well. Don't see why those would act up randomly. Anyways, someone tells me that its my graphics card and RAM that are causing these problems. I re-installed the game, added all the mods (except some I decided I don't need anymore), and it runs fine.
