Thanks, Its really annoying when there's people trying to debunk things all the time, but its ok. Yes, Hypercam is very laggy indeed. And there was no ped spawning. I can make another video of me finding him in a truck, its no problem. I didn't make the video long because that video I uploaded was like 400MB when it was done, then I used a video converter to take it down to a WMV and it brought it down to 20megs, which is alot of upload for my considerably slow DSL connection. And I dont understand the Quad talk. All i did was use it to drive from Fort Carson down the road, and once i found the ped in a truck i got off, got his attention by punching his door, i hopped back on the Quad and he followed while i laughed while he kept try to throw me off. i ditched the quad and ran into the oil refinery. I find it a bit stange that you have about the same health and money on both of the videos you posted. Why is that Strange? Explain Please. I haven't been playing the game at all ( No missions or anything). I load up my game to make these videos. Theres no reason why it should be different. If he has edited it, thats his choice, he is the one being a fool. Even now that hes made a decent video, you still terrorise him. Im surprised hes taking it so well. Although it is totally possible to edit the ped's model and replace it these days, I have a feeling that you haven't done that. MadcapSmoky22 Posted March 18, 2010 Share Posted March 18, 2010 I actually believe TC and I have saw that ped without ONE ear near the same area, but I'm just wondering if it's a texture/model bug (like in VC where it is very common with for hats models on characters mostly) or is it done specially for this area. Thanks alot man, Yes that is all Im saying that maybe it doesn't even have to do anything with the Big ear. Maybe its just a simple glitch. I enjoyed making the videos, and I absolutely love playing this game and exploring what all is in its world. And Just to show im not some kid siting in this parents basement trying to mess with people on a message board, here is a glitch a came across in GTA4 The Ballad Of Gay Tony. No matter how much photographic or video evidence there is it could always have been edited. I'm not in the mood to draw a conclusion, but I must say a video isn't enough proof. Simply because a TXD file could have been manipulated. At some points in the video it looks a lot like cheesy TXD editing, but again, I'm not drawing a conclusion yet I did go to the Geisser yesterday, but I couldn't find this ped walking around anywhere @GTA4 Video Yes, that's a glitch in GTA4 not SA @Blizzard The break in the video is their because the free version of fraps records 15 seconds of video then stops recording. the easy work around is to quickly stop recording, then start recording. Some video editing software doesn't join these up totally, and instead leaves a quick pause between clips Edit: This HAS to be fake. Textured edited. First this started off as 1 ear missing. Now according to the new video he has both ears missing. That would need 3 textures in the TXD file (One for both ears, one for 1 ear and another for no ears, and AFAIK this ped only has one. If all peds work the same this means this ped only has one texture - the one with both ears. =============== Offtopic =============== @Dstrickt I assure you the numbers in my name are not random. I got one of my pets on the 22nd of the 7th, so I added the numbers to my name @Anyone If anyone knows the names of the TXD and DFF files for this ped, please post them here. I need to conduct my own experiments here. ================ Ontopic =============== To put the nail to it's coffin I do believe SA will "mirror" the ear part of the texture to the other side of the head. Even if it was glitched and it didn't mirror, there is no jagged marks from the ear area to his hat like in the video, which makes me believe this was TXD edited. DarrinPA Posted March 19, 2010 Share Posted March 19, 2010 I searched at 4 places today. (1) At the geyser I found the ped with BOTH ears. (2) I went onto the street west of the geyser and pulled the ped out and he had both ears. (3) Checked at the "Big Ear" and found him driving away from there on the street, pulled him out of the vehical - both ears were normal. (4) Found him in a vehicle just south of the abandoned airport and he was missing and ear! No, just joking he was normal with two ears. The ONLY chance of this being real would be if it's a glitch that mimics the problem with CJ's head being stretched down to the gound - That wouldn't require a different file for this ped. James227uk and Dstrickt are completely right, like james227uk said, there's only one ear in the txd file, which reflects to the other, so there's no possible way to make a one ear ped. The first 'video' which is actually slide show, is made intentionaly silent, so that others think it's a lag, but it's just a pair of edited photos.
