fili
I had never suspected this be a biopic, film, but what do you guys think? I will be happy to see this film, to be honest. I only got to experience the band via YouTube, and it's one of the few All girl bands with real cred history, people look up to Lita Ford today, as she stays strong in the music genre. Joan Jett has essentially moved on it seems for a original musical sample, their Quiet Riot song cover is actually a Slade song! DemonKing
Oh great. I thought I'd never see one of these topics ever again.
fili
It could be in the Music section, but it's more to do with a current film then the group. Judging from comments on it though, some people seem to think it's the first all female rock band, not so however.. , ... one of the more successful 1970s acts before the Runaways Edited March 13, 2010 by fili
Don Garcia
So Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning make out in this... It's sad to think that will very likely be the highlight of the movie.
Vanilla Shake
I'm surprised to be saying this, but I'm thinking of checking this out. Doesn't look completely awful to me (like the f*cking Twilight movies) and in my opinion Kristen Stewart can't act for sh*t, but I'm thinking what the hell. I'll check out another movie that's set in the '70s, focuses on a band that ultimately self-destructs and is likely to have a decent soundtrack filled with '70s tunes. And who knows, maybe the film itself will actually be okay. I know the chick who played Laurie Strode from the recent Halloween flicks is playing Lita Ford and that she had to learn how to play guitar for the part. Unfortunately her name isn't up in the bright lights like the other two. And that's a shame 'cause I think she's a better actress than both Fanning and Stewart combined. I'm on the fence but I'm thinking it's worth a shot. TC718 / <629 / CF5
