The next GTA

I just had a thought.

How about, if the next GTA (untill V or whatever is released) was for the PSP, and focused on Luis Fernendo Lopez prior to going to Juvie. Back when he was a drug pusher with Armando and H?

It could be the current revision of Liberty City, albeit it with slightly lower graphics, and the newer control scemes etc. Basically a GTA IV on the PSP, but set a few years ago...

No going to happen i know but just wanted peoples thoughts on it...

R* don't tend to use characters as a protagonist twice.

And I'm also quite bored of LC now but it's a good concept your offering.

I have no idea who this Luis Lopez is...seeing as I am a poor, peasant PS3 user sad.gif . I must wait 19 more days til I can learn of him and this guy named Johnny.....Kibbutz or something? Anyways I'm lookin' forward to it haha!!!

I'm just kidding man! I know who he is and a hand-held game like that could be quite cool. However as far as I am aware, GTA has never done two games with the same protagonist so I can't see it. However the time period and the content of the game is worth a look itself so how about playing as either Armando or Henrique during that period? Or a close friend of Luis closely involved at the time? That way we could see how he winds up in Juvie from another perspective. Something worth RockStar Leeds having a crack at for sure.

I like your thinking. Its a good point about reusing protag's,

I think PSP owners should have some kind of new GTA (excluding chinatown wars which, personally, i thought wasnt that good.). But yeah, Liberty is a little rinsed.

It was merely a passing concept i thought i'd share with you good folks.

Good job for having a thought but.

Your a retarded @$$hole.

Au revoir.

Oh no, it's Yovan3! He's back, and he's even stronger than Yovan and Yovan2! Also, he's motivated by revenge for his two predecessors and he is very vengeful, and he's allied with the french and the canadians! How do we stop him this time gang?

And I don't like the idea of playing protagonists twice in GTA, they should definitely return, but only as NPCs.

You know, I totally got my DSi just for Chinatown Wars! I had a PSP (which I only got for Liberty City Stories... wow.gif wow I've just realised how obsessed with GTA I am and I'm a grown-ass man!) and I was very miffed that the new hand-held GTA was out on a Platform I didn't have. Having played it on my DSi though I realised it was made specifically just for the DSi with all the stylus-related stuff you can do with it and I couldn't see it ever coming out for the PSP purely because of the way the game played. Imagine my shock - and how pissed I was - when it came out on the PSP! I haven't got it yet as I still think the game isn't meant for the PSP

Kwandilibro

This would be possible with the Renderware engine if the V PSP was to be released on PlayStation Store.

You're unloved.

Unfortunately, San Andreas was the last GTA on Renderware. The PSP GTA Stories were on a different engine all together.

But most likely there will not be another handheld GTA until the V era starts. The III era was lucky to see 3 handheld games, however, only one of them stayed handheld only. (GTA Advance)

Just ignore the Yovan's, I've been getting stupid replies from him aswell.

I THINK A NEW GTA PSP GAME WILL BE AWESOME.

And Nova69_7 is not retarded Yovan, no one is except you, you fat crap.

You suck at jokes and I think blocking his IP and any name that has to do with yovan or sounds like yovan should get blocked.

Awww...gee thanks Jayd101, ur a star me old mate.

What I would say is that the DSi brings a lot more options to gameplay with the stylus. When I played CW it felt like a game I'd never played before yet still felt totally like a GTA. It was the best selling game on the DSi of all time (although still short of what RockStar predicted) so I think we should expect another handheld soon. I think like last time the game will be released first on th DSi and then surely be ported over after a short exclusive period.

Nova seems like a sound guy to me, it's just a shame one little cleg comes onto these forums.

I think the best cause is to just ignore him. He's sad enough that his biggest joy is to sign into a forums, post pathetic stuff, then get blocked and do it all again the next day.

He'll get bored, or a life...

OT: What are our thoughts for the future of GTA PSP? Will we see any more? or will it just be second rate ports?
