Help with adding more homies/ballas

How can I add more homies/ballas other than the original three? Like so they spawn or hang out with the rest of them, etc.. I have around seven or so I would like to add for each side. Also can I add/set a voice to each one of them?

 

I have the textures/moddels I just need to know where to add the code, or whatever.

Function-X-

Well you can add a ped that is already in the game and you can change it's model and txd.

Do backups of the files first, just to be safe....

Ok so go to the DATA folder and open the file called pedgrp.dat

press Ctrl+F and type GROVE and press enter

then you will see this:

 

FAM1, FAM2, FAM3  # Gang 2 (THE FAMILIES - PLAYER GANG - AKA GROVE)

 

so lets say for example you want to add the pimp ped to the gang, so you need to make it like this:

 

FAM1, FAM2, FAM3, BMYPIMP	# Gang 2 (THE FAMILIES - PLAYER GANG - AKA GROVE)

 

and then save the file and done, the ped will take a while to appear with the gang ingame so keep searching for him around the neighborhood

if you want to know the peds names and stuff use the Pededitor

 

And for the voice

go to the data folder again, and open the file peds.ide

search for the ped name you want to change it's voice, so lets say it's the pimp guy again for example

press Ctrl+F and type bmypimp

and then you will see something like this:

 

249, BMYPIMP,   BMYPIMP , CIVMALE, STAT_STREET_GUY, man, 130C,1, null,3,7,PED_TYPE_GEN,VOICE_GEN_BMYPI ,VOICE_GEN_BMYPI

 

leave this file like this and open another peds.ide and search for a ped you like his voice, so lets say for example FAM1 cause hes a grove gangster

you will see his line like this:

 

105, FAM1, FAM1, GANG2, STAT_GANG2, gang2, 110F,1, null,5,5,PED_TYPE_GANG,VOICE_GNG_FAM1 ,VOICE_GNG_FAM2

 

copy this part:

 

VOICE_GNG_FAM1 ,VOICE_GNG_FAM2

 

and then replace it with the pimp voice so it's like this:

 

249, BMYPIMP,   BMYPIMP , CIVMALE, STAT_STREET_GUY, man, 130C,1, null,3,7,PED_TYPE_GEN,VOICE_GNG_FAM1 ,VOICE_GNG_FAM2

 

And save and done !
