HermesBird Posted March 11, 2010 Share Posted March 11, 2010 (edited) Well, Ive started playing GTA online on my PS3 not so long ago and I am seriously getting tired of and I quote "NEVER" finding a game with auto-Aim on Disallow. Its pretty rediculous, now I know the reasing being its a bunch of little turds (kids) playing. But playing this way is just noobish and takes no skill at all, not to mention "The most important part" its plain "BORING" seeing as the game takes care of all the work for u. I would like to make a suggestion that they update this game and add a vote to this option, I think its important enough to be if even the only one with the voting system. Cause its rediculous. Ive tried start my own game in "custom Match" but even that takes me to a game that already has a host.. This feature really should be an added update to GTAIV- or the next one coming up- Its really a rediculous issue... I am not a lover of AA, as it is I am not great at shooting but at least with aa off one has to rely on skill. Its a nightmare when u r driving away from someone shooting at you with aa, let alone trying out my skills of running people over, something I greatly enjoy. In that situation aa gets me every time. I often leave a game with aa on, especially if i get aa shot the second i enter play.... whats the point in staying.... But to me the difference between a noob and a new player, rookie ect. Is the ones who "choose" to use tactics or gameplay styles that would most likely make others that play the right (SKILLZ-GET SOME) way consider you a coward. Sure its only a video game and all, but why play if your not going all out and letting the game do it for u? Same could be said for camping, trust me its "WAY" more fun- going all out and losing, than camping in some corner or on a building waiting for people to come to u and winning.....Need I say again? "BORING" Difference being- noobs stick to this pattern in one way or another. They dont play to have fun, they play to win by any means neccassary...maybe there just failures in real life situations, so given the chance to win in a video game, they take it-even if it means a more boring experience for them. There fun comes from winning, not from playing. Nothing more I love to than winning to of course, But me-I like to earn my stripes, but hey maybe thats just me. Lastly I wouldnt say that just because they stick to there noobish endevours they have a better chance at winning- at least not with me in said game Hehehe. You yourself have a noobish attitude though. You joined today and the first thing to do is course and shout noob? Can you imagine how "BORING" this gets for members that are here a little longer? And yes it has amounted to the point where I have to start calling names, not just because its what they really are, but because maybe this will grab there attention (how short that span is eh?) and anger them to the point whereas they'll "think" they could possibly take me on Haha. But as always my words are in vain I know, as the saying goes"Once a coward, always a Coward- hopefully this can be proven wrong, though I have not seen it yet. In any case, not to worry Im finding myself not caring much as of now... Yes im over it, guess ill just stop playing- the multiplayer anyways No satisfaction? Lay it to rest eh? Whenever I play (for over 1,5 years now, aa on or off, I dont care) its more like you are playing with aa on but you can start shooting before you get a lock on. So its really not about letting the game do all the work. You work around the auto aiming. So its exactly like aa off. Strafing and all... Now tell me how this aa on style can annoy you? If you shoot quicker, from afar and earlier > you kill them. You win. If you let them get too close you loose. You can use tactics and skills here, see? So, did you know about this neat feature? I guess not or else you had not started yet another topic about aa on and aa off. ScoobydooWRX Posted March 11, 2010 Share Posted March 11, 2010 Auto aim is ok if you playing on your own in single player, but in the next GTA it would be a lot better if their was no auto aim option in multi player, then you know, if you take someone out you can take full credit. As for the spawn killing part: it would cut down but never die out. So there will be people complaining about this every time, cause thats what they can do best. Well all in all Id say for the next one either get rid of it or add a preference for it so that u youd only join games as such- there, no harm done ...Im rethinking that and Id say- No, just completely remove it from the multiplayer part of the game. If your moaning about the action on the network after just a few days then I hate to tell you that it gets worse. Maybe adjusting the attitude might help. The guys have some useful info on this forum and chances are they know abit more about playing than you. You could set your preferences for auto-aim, friendly fire and cops. For the love of me I can't think of any reason why they haven't given the PS3 this same update, it's Godsent... There's tiny bit of hope though... This update came right before TLAD was released. We got another update just before TBOGT was released. Since I originally came from the 360 version the first year the game came out I found myself coming in first or second a lot of times in DM or TDM with average of 35-40++ kills in 20minute matches. Got bored with that and picked up a ps3 and gtaiv and I come to find out everyone loves auto aim and no ones uses a mic lol.. Even if I start a auto aim off game people will join and want aa on and kick me from my own game. Wow!! So now my skills went down hill and found myself in the chopper all day killing people. If your on ps3 and want to play auto aim off add me. ABN-punisher88 let me know your from the forums or I want accept the friend request. johnwontscore Posted March 11, 2010 Share Posted March 11, 2010 In freemode, I don't really care about auto aim off or on. You can have fun in both settings, or any setings for that matter. I'm into auto aim on police on at the moment. I take my wanted level to 4 stars, get in a copter and just go after people on the ground. As soon as someone starts shooting at me, the cops start shooting at them as if the cops were my private army. Auto aim counts for far less in that situation too as the cops attract the lock-on most of the time. I sometimes get behind the police if there's no lock on me and that's the end of the auto aim advantage for the poor sucker on the ground. Good fun. Worth a try. They call me a cheater and send me hateful messages about a poor connection. Yeah, it didn't have anything to do with the fact you suck or anything. That's how I like to troll the Auto-Aimers. Sometimes they kick though... which only makes them petulant children and me all the more happy that they were all pissed off to all send each other the message to kick. ScrewedYou Posted March 15, 2010 Share Posted March 15, 2010 I have no trouble finding a disallow game. Although I think the balance is probably abbut 60/40 aa/disallow. I still don't have much of a problem and never have, and I see hosts of all levels with it set on disallow as well. I've always said AA is an option, it's not like Rockstar forces you to use it. I play both throughout the day. I enjoy the strategy of disallow but sometimes I enjoy one of those super quick own 'em all aa games for sh*ts and giggles.
