SlicedBread
I heard there was a Titanic mod for San Andreas, could this picture mean there's a Vice City version? I've Googled quite a bit but can't seem to find anything that suggests such a mod was ever made for VC. Maybe I'm wrong? I hope not, it would be pretty cool! What do you think? coin-god
That look epic, the amount of detail in that ship is great. Im looking forward to that mod aswell. I helped the guy who made the SA version, reason why i made a Titanic simulation in 3D MAX. But never heard of a VC version.
SlicedBread
But never heard of a VC version. Neither have I, but someone's got it! Either they're teasing and not sharing or it's not ready to be released yet? Either way, the person who made it is being very selfish releasing nothing about it. Whoever it is clearly is no novice when it comes to modding. Could be someone belonging to this site. I searched through it a bit earlier and found nothing, but I'm hoping we'll hear something soon! _Rob_
I'm inclined to agree with Narcis on this one the sea that you can just about see looks unlike VC's and in some places tommy looks to be badly cut out in photoshop ;/

How did I not notice that? Lol. Argh.. well it was a nice thought for a few hours anyways. Come to think of it, Tommy's shadow in the picture is like a circle of gray, and he appears to be hovering slightly. Perhaps this is an edit of the San Andreas version replacing the HUD and radar? Seems unlikely but how else would they have a game-like image of Titanic? Just a thought.
_Rob_
Could just as easily be a Max render with a little photoshop
SlicedBread
Well it certainly had me fooled anyway... having said that, I am kind of a noob >.< Never mind, I expect one'll actually turn up one day (hopefully less buggy than the San Andreas one from what I've heard of it). SlicedBread
Waaaaaaaait... I done a little searching and that looks like it may be the model used in Ship simulator?

This is not a stretch for VC. As for the sky, Modelingman made a skybox mod for VC (not sure if it's released or not..) that would allow the sky to look at least as good as the one in this image, if not better. Fake or not (what's with the player shadow?) there isn't anything in that image that VC can't do. The aliasing artifacts suggest it's not pre-rendered.
