Vanilla Shake
I'll admit the Pope jokes weren't great. They definitely could've done better with that. Just look at how many brilliant things that Matt & Trey wrote, in past episodes, but I loved the rest of the episode. And Ugly Americans is great. I hope it doesn't flop like every show that had the 10:30 PM time slot after South Park was over. SIKKS66
Wow, when I saw Jimbo, Ned, Barbrady, Cartmans Mum, I instantly thought of Vanilla Shakes post. This. So damn weird how the week people in these forums were saying we need some of the old characters back we get three in an episode. I'm sure we have someone on GTAF working for South Park. Easily the best episode of this season and probably one of the best in quite some time. Edited April 2, 2010 by SIKKS66
dotCody
Anyone from Canada know if Comedy Central HD is available on any of the satellite providers, yet? I'm sick of watching South Park in sh*tty ass SD.
SIKKS66
Episode 1404 Announcement: "You've Got 0 Friends" Stan and Kyle have been through so much together over the years but it all means nothing if Stan won't "friend" Kyle on Facebook in an all-new episode of "South Park" titled "You Have 0 Friends”. Kyle "Friended" the wrong person and now all of his old friends are deserting him. His situation is desperate. Kyle looks for help from the one who has always been there for him. Haha, finally gonna tear the f*ck outa the disease that is Facebook? Ace.

I'm sick of watching South Park in sh*tty ass SD. Dude. South Park is simplistic looking. HD won't really enhance anything as there's no real details that can't be seen in SD.. And hurray. I dislike Facebook and Myspace. Pointless endeavors they are. People are better off making friends face to face, on a daily basis.

I'm sick of watching South Park in sh*tty ass SD. Dude. South Park is simplistic looking. HD won't really enhance anything as there's no real details that can't be seen in SD. Back in the first few seasons, I would've said the same. But ever since season 5 the animations for the show have been much more advanced and continue to get better. So, HD does make a difference. I know because I've watched one of the latest episodes in standard definition and then in HD. Trust me, it makes a difference. The-end
It makes quite a vast difference on a 1080p television, considering in SD the picture would have to be stretched 4 times its size to fill the screen.

SIKKS66
Quality episode imo. This whole season has been pretty decent so far. Kinda strange how they aged the characters in this one though, giving them all a birthdate of 2001.
springsteen_fan
The whole Stan/Wendy thing is back too! Last week we got Officer Barbrady and Jimbo, and now this! Awesome
Vanilla Shake
I enjoyed it, just like the rest of the episodes this season. I especially loved the whole thing with Facebook being treated like the stock market. That was pretty f*cking clever. Although Cartman played a minimal role in the episode, I loved his role in it the best. And I also loved the ChatRoulette thing. Jordy.
Aw, that was a great episode! Full of genuine "I know all about that sh*t" laughs, and Stan's dad being all sob. Oh, and yes Mr Post Above, the Chatroulette scene was awesome. penispenispenispenis
Pat
Wasn't as good as last week's episode, but it was still pretty good.
SIKKS66
The ChatRoulette comment got me back on Omegle... never a good thing. I'm kinda glad they didn't end it how I thought they were gonna. I had this vision of Kip hanging himself when Kyle removed him from his friends list with the episode ending on a sad note, like 'Free Willzyx', 'Stanley's Cup' and the Futurama episode 'Jurassic Bark'. They were so depressing...
Tim Dog
That's exactly how I think about Facebook. You need to have a Facebook profile, otherwise you wont fit in. Man f*ck Facebook. Chatroulette was a funny part. Webcam full of penises indeed.
Vanilla Shake
I'm kinda glad they didn't end it how I thought they were gonna. I had this vision of Kip hanging himself when Kyle removed him from his friends list with the episode ending on a sad note, like 'Free Willzyx', 'Stanley's Cup' and the Futurama episode 'Jurassic Bark'. They were so depressing... Well, the show isn't meant to be happy go lucky or make you feel all warm inside. It's a vulgar show and part of that vulgarity is seeing some absurd and what would be in real life disturbing things. But, that's one of the reasons why it's funny. You can't get all depressed over a cartoon character from a comedy that you've only seen in one episode killing himself. I mean, it's a cartoon. And it's South Park. You should come to know that the show is like this. The kid was supposed to look like a loser with no life. I can understand getting emotional over film characters or characters from a television series that you get to know over a course of time and feeling a bit sad when that character dies, but a cartoon character who appeared in the episode for less than 10 minutes? But yeah, I was expecting Kip to kill himself when Kyle deleted him from his friends list but it was a surprise to see that Stan passed all of his Facebook friends over to him, so to see it go from 0 to over 800,000 and his reaction over it was pretty damn funny. Spaghetti Cat
I laughed my a** off at the end of the "free willzyx" episode. Also thought it would end bad for that kid, so it was cool when they threw in that twist at the end, didn't expect it from south park. I was also funny how I always thought Kyle way the moral upstanding character. So it was pretty funny when all the chips were down, he acted like any of the rest of us would in that situation. Stan in the TRON universe, and running into Kyle's farming game, was pretty funny too. No Image Available
SIKKS66
Ah, maybe "depressed" was a strong phrase. I get what they were doing with the Willzyx episode and everything, just you know, Kip seemed like a nice kid lol. And seriously, when that kid dies at the end of Stanley's Cup? It's hilarious cause you share Stan's wtf moment but its a bit cruel lol. Hilariously cruel. Whatever. Go poke your grandma. Kippers
That was a good one. I like how they merged Facebook and Tron together in an episode And Randy Marsh again coming out with hilarious lines. I'm glad it ended on a happy note for Kip. 習うより慣れろ

Dunpeal
I'm surprised it took them this long to make an episode taking the p*ss out of Facebook. Was a well funny episode though. The whole Tron bit made me laugh pretty effin hard.
Fnorg
I'm just gonna go ahead and say it... I liked the Pope jokes. Also, Facebook episode was pretty fun. I know this guy who has 1000+ friends on FB, the whole 800,000 friend thing definitely had me going. "I'm afraid I can't let you do that Stan Marsh" was probably the funniest thing for me in the episode after the Jim Cramer spoof.
3niX
Well... I liked the Pope jokes. I dont think they were actually meant as a funny joke... more of a "we cant believe that they are getting away with what they have done" statement. The Tron reference was definitely suitable and the Chatroulette part was pretty funny.

Don Garcia
I would totally friend Kyle on Facebook; I don't think the Hurt Locker deserved the Oscar either. Great parody overall. My favorite episode this season. I never watch episodes on South Park studios, but seeing it uncensored really is fantastic. "f*ck off, dad." Spot on with Chat Roulette. Andyzoot
Meh, I thought it was the worst episode of the series so far...had a few smirks from me but most of this stuff I have heard before. I mean as soon as Cartman mentioned Chatroulette you know they were going to do a penis joke.
