fili
http://www.nydailynews.com/gossip/2010/03/...ed_reports.html Not meaning to add any insensitivity with the title for this, but just tying into the name of the more recent reality show they shared. It is another sad death by overdose in Hollywood. Corey Haim and Feldman we all pretty much remember growing up, Sad day
Mister Pink
I can only seem to remember him in The Lost Boys. That article said he was taking up to about 85 pills a day? That's mental. RUBBΣR░J♢HNNY (スオッ)
Don Garcia
Child stars... This is suprisingly not a surprise. It's a damn cliche.
Toke
It was bound to happen sooner or later. Looks like the other Corey is soon to follow since his divorce. No big loss nonetheless.
ghost of delete key
80's child actor and "Lost Boys" star Corey Haim died today, apparently of an overdose. Sauce RIP "I can just imagine him driving off the edge of a cliff like Thelma & Louise, playing his Q:13 mix at full volume, crying into a bottle." - Craig

trip
I'm half surprised that this death thread showed up. Ok, maybe I'm not really surprised. Those crazy 80s child actors. Toke
No big loss. Now if only the other Corey would off himself.
Voodoo
sh*t man, we're down to just one Corey. I'd like to say he was a fine actor, but maybe I'll just pour some beer on the ground and plant a barbiturate in his honor.
kevin2006rhs
Who? Crawl back in your hole, think about how old you are in reference to the phrase "80s child star", then wiki the mother f*cker like a smart little lad. Anyways...moving on...because blatantly retarded spam sucks. He kinda had it coming. Not that he deserved it in the least but because he was on a drug focused downslide for ages. Its been on the news, in the tabloids, and buried in late night VH1 shows. Its not like it is a surprise to anyone that he passed away this young for this reason. Now if he was gunned down by chineese dignitaries, that would be different, intriguing, and quite "out of left field".

King Kapone
As long as it's not Corey Hart, everything's okay.
darthYENIK
Still have one Corey left. The better one, at that. I liked a few of his movies. Lucas, the Lost Boys and License to Drive are some childhood favorites. Two of those three also starred Feldman.

Weirdo.
I'd like to say that his death was a big loss for me, but then I would be a liar. Honestly, I barely knew who the guy was.
fili
I posted the news in TV Movie chat when I first heard in the AM, on the TV. So, we don't really need this thread. It is a shame that no one ever learns the lesson; DRUGS = BAD! After Jimi Hendrix passed, people should have wised up.
Mike Tequeli
I didn't know he was Canadian, and for some reason this really surprised me. I also didn't know the other Corey was divorced but Feldman is a tit anyways. This story isn't exactly making waves though.

trip
Everyone dressed like that in the 80s. Scary but true. What the f*ck was everyone thinking? I'm scared. I've seen 80s style belts return, and a few leg warmers - lets hope it stops there. Please. Everyone smelled of hair moose ,sitting in their neon clothes while watching 'Gone with the Wind' on their lazerdisc player (can we please have a slamman emoticon?) I saw 'The Lost Boys' at the drive in. I'm glad I can't remember what I was wearing. darthYENIK
If only I had some good pictures of me in my 80s gear when I was a little kid. It was okay to do it back then, with neon colors, and super thin neck ties. But now a days it just seems like a sick parody. If these people really want to dress like we did in the 80s, they should wear some loud brightly colored stretchy waist band pants, instead of women's skinny pants. We wore RELAXED FIT acid washed jeans, not ball hugging ass crack showing tight fit jeans.
fili
Corey Feldman made better movies, like The Lipstick Camera. Last one I remember seeing. As far as 80s fashion, earlier 80s was more hit and miss then later in the decade

fili
Skillyfully merged, I see. You guys recall Farrah Fawcett passed away last year and during the Oscars, she was left off the list of all the stars they paid tribute to, and suffice to say, fans AND her family are upset. We shall see if the same fate awaits Corey at the next Oscars. R.I.P. Feldman is not talking to the press, he did do a TV interview the other day which I've not seen
Rebel
Honestly didn't know who the guy was when I saw who he was and his name. Did a quick google image search and I realised it was the guy from The Lost Boys. Really liked the film. Sad to see him go because of all the drugs and what not, but I guess it won't be long before the other Corey will go now.
fili
BANISH THE THOUGHT! I noticed an online link to Corey Feldman's MySpace, that's pretty cool that you can share things directly with him on that site. In the interviews following his death, as of late, I heard that both Coreys seem to have been victims of child molestation and that Nicole who was Haim's girlfriend says this guy is still out there, free, and during the interview when asked, she said she'd try and find out that this person was on a sexual predator list or doing time, to get them off the streets for good. She says that the drugs were part of this problem, as well, Haim was flat broke currently, as Feldman was saying on Larry King. He had a film in the works however, and I wonder if it will see the light of day at this point. Edited March 12, 2010 by fili
