Credit cards

Do you ever have those days when you come home from school and you find that half of your money on GTA IV is gone since your lil cousins came and played it and spent it all. (Well that's never happened, but thats besides the point) Wouldn't it be cool, if all your money was in a Savings account, and to spend stuff, you had to have a pin code, and you could set it to anything, so only you could use it? And, if you have no money, you can spend it on credit and pay it back later, and it could have a limit of your choice smile.gif

This is a good idea, borrowing money to pay (or not to pay) back. But I'd favor going to Loan Sharks, to be honest with you. It would seem a lot more "street level" than taking out a loan from a bank, and if you chose not to pay back on the loan, ducking and diving to avoid the Loan Shark could turn out to be pretty fun - though I would prefer a bunch of thugs with baseball bats to turn up periodically on the characters door step, or follow him around until the debt was repaid, instead of a car full of hitmen charging at you guns blazing like in San Andreas.

Haha, nice idea. I would love to see wimpy henchmen chase you around with baseball bats and knives.

Nefarious Money Man

Scarface: The World is Yours aka The Best GTA Clone ever made had a good system whereby you receive money and then lodge it into the bank at differing intrest rates deopending on the amount.. this would then make your money available to be used to purchase things.. kinda like a debit or credit system. It would be good to see something similar in a gta game if only to give the atm machines an actual purpose.

If you remember when IV came out, it was revealed there would be ATM's in the game an everyone thought there would be a system in the game similar to everything in your post Piperka. It was such a dissappointment when the ATM's turned out to be just another way to check your balance...which could have been checked a lot easier by just pressing down on your D-Pad. (Well it was on the PS3, I imagine it would be the same on the X360 too).

I would really like it if GTA:NeXt had a lot more emphasis on money than in IV. Personal accounts would be a snazzy addition and I'm liking the loan-shark idea. Money was so obsolete in IV as the only things to spend it on was clothes and weapons. In the next game it would be great if some of the missions actually had you needing to turn to loan-sharks etc. to raise cash for whatever reason. I would like more things to spend money on and I would also like a more personal approach to my money. Piperka, for me, the personal account thing would be quite good.
