Absolutely! Thats like asking if modding a carbine to shoot rockets is cheating.

Heres why. fragFX v2 also has turbo= modded controller.

Why can't you just win with a Six-axis? I mean do you really suck so horribly that you have to not only rely on fragFX but also turbo? Dude! when you beat someone whos truly decent, do you really feel as if you used skill. Have some friggin dignity and earn your wins the real way. Not by cheating. That's my opinion though.

Like he said (I think...) it's considered cheating by many, including me. Turbo/Rapid-Fire controllers are f*cking gay and unfair.

I don't think I have ever been in a game with some one using a turbo. Either that or I haven't noticed.

what gaming system you play gta4 on? xbox360 or ps3? if your on ps3.. trust me...there's a LOT of turbo users on there. it's ridicuolous <-- ( i spell that right?)

Oh please, why are there so many gta forum members that point something out and then stick to their opinion, even though every post in his topic states something different from this opinion...

If you join these assholes and waste your money on a cheat device to make yourself seem more skillful in an online game, you really have completely failed at life. There is no hope for you. Honour, pride, dignity, and self-respect are all gone for you.

 

As people who actually waste their valuable time on online games, we are all pretty low on the food chain already, but anyone who CHEATS in an online game... lowest of the lowest of the low. It is hard to imagine anything more pathetic.

 

Even griefers are better than turbo/frag users - at least their profession requires some amount of skill, to efficiently ruin a game for others, but cheaters ruin the game for themselves - if they can find anyone to play with.

Wow, if I were to draw conclusions from your behavior, then the following would come out:

 

"What about your self-respect then? You truely feel that you are wasting your valuable time on online games? Online gamers are pretty low on the food chain? Were you brought up that way or did you form that image for yourself?

 

Seems like an unhealthy self-conception to me. Hope you dont punish yourself for wasting your time posting and reading on this forum."

Frag users only stand in the open and frags mainly work with assault rifles. Play them on other settings and get near them and their advantage will shrink. I played the best 2 GTA frag users on PS3 in a 2on2 on standard weapons once and beat them. If you know how to handle them, they're not much of a problem. Just don't play their game always going out in the open, or never go out in the open. Sounds easy but they will camp in the open and refuse to do close confrontation the whole game.

 

And yes, frags are cheating. If you pay that much money in order to to be good, you are dumb because everybody knows if someone cheats. If you, as a host, switch to weak weapons or pistols and they go 10:20 or something like that it's obvious that they cheat. So you paid a lot of money to keep up with good fair players in a video game and in the end, everyone will know that you are a cheater and that a video game means so much to you that you would spend your money on a video game rather than on everyday necesities.. Is it worth it?

 

By the way, doesn't it say in the PSN rules of conduct that third-party controllers aren't allowed?

Of course you didnt say that. As well as I didnt say you are using the FragFX.

 

Its the gta forums where you dont want to show any weaknesses because every second member pays scrupulous attention to spot those weaknesses...

Although you used "i" in your first post where you could easily have used a more neutral form.

 

But in the end it all comes down to this:

as I said in your thread about turbo controllers back in october, I clearly have met only 4 to 5 guys using turbos or frags. Perhaps I encountered more than that, but I cant tell if they were significantly better than I am. So I dont care if somebody is using it. Sniper or M4 bullet to the face. Show me how a turbo can cope with that...
