FIFA10 or PES10?

I really cant decide which one to buy. So I need help. My friend told that PES10 is better, but then I watched some reviews about both games and FIFA seems to be good too.

FIFA 10 hands down. I used to be a PES-only fanboy, but when PES6 and FIFA 08 came along, the contrast was huge and I became a FIFA convert. FIFA has a superior engine and gaming experience this year round. The online modes are expansive and plenty, and the manager mode has such longevity you will be swallowed up by it all. Also from a graphical standpoint, FIFA is much more superior, with player models reacting as a player should, not running like they've done an accident in their briefs like on PES10.

 

So in short, get FIFA 10!

I used to be a PES player myself, quality games on the PS2 but since the new releases on the current consoles they've started to decline although PES 2010 was a slight movement in the right direction again but i can't look past FIFA anymore. It's still an alright game and i still play it around my mates house but i now prefer FIFA.

I played both, although on PC only, and I have to say that pes clearly owns fifa and no mather how big of a fifa fanboy you are, on PC, you'll be amazed how better pes is. But on the console side, fifa is dominant in almost every way. I went from fifa pc to pes pc about 6 months ago and I seriously can't see myself going back.

FIFA took a few steps back for me. One year on from '09, which was a cracking game btw, and they haven't done anything except add bugs.

 

PES2008 & 2009 were both pretty sh*te, but for me PES2010 was vastly improved from them.

 

 

Overall I do still think FIFA's better than PES atm, but I wouldn't be surprised if the next installments are to be very close.

Haven't got PES2010 but i have FIFA 10 and it is really good. I have heard that PES 2010 isn't as good as FIFA 10 so FIFA 10 for me.

Yeah, from what I understand; FIFA is king on consoles and PES is better on PC.

Different. I wouldn't say one is better than the other. PES are in fact more cartoonish, I found. It annoyed me.

I started football games in 2002/3 with Fifa 2003. I quickly got introduced to PES 3. The game was harder, more free feeling and more realistic to me. I've been an avid PES player since up until recently. I bought, PES 09 and Fifa 09 a few months ago, rather than splashing out on PES 2010.

 

I tried Fifa and all I could do was point out it's faults, but I liked some of the charachter animations etc. I didn't like the way you couldn't put footballers names as the icons. The goal net didn't move like in PES. It's very easy to tackle most players and very difficult to dribble without loosing the ball, for you or your opponent. The replays aren't as good. They show from only the the kick - on, rather than the build-up, unless you go into the replay editor.

 

However, I gave Fifa 09 a second chance and it won me over. Even though I've been playing PES for the last 6 or 7 years and Fifa again for about a month, when I go back to PES and play it the game seems ridiculous. Too fast, repetitive, unrealistic looking for a game of football.

Fifa is a fun, challenging, game, the tricks are there to be learned, only thing is that PES has the licensed Champions League.

 

Licenses never bothered me, hence my playing PES for so long but if you are used to licenses, going from Fifa to PES may be hard.

 

Anyway, I say go for Fifa.

I don't know. I really want PES2010 now.

 

I've had my last straw with FIFA, it's just a complete fix, It's only after you see through the graphics and extras you'll realise whats important on a Football game and it's gameplay and realism, Everyone thought the new 360 movement would change the gameplay and make it alot more free flowing, but no. It seems to be only a select few that realise how Corrupt this game is. It's always the same old story with EASports, lazy money grabbers.

I guess it matters how much attention your going to pay to it, Personally being a FIFA Fanboy for years, i've just grown sick of the same old story. I'm actually thinking about picking PES up.

I'm thinking of trading in FIFA10 on the 360 and get PES2010. I have FIFA10 on the PS3 anyway.
