GTA IV PS3 f*cked up?

Hi,

 

As you can see in the video below, my GTA IV PS3 version is quite bad. I get these black holes at the same place everytime. Does anyone know what I can do about it?

 

 

 

The PS3 is not hacked and it's an original game.

Looks like what happened in the previous generation Grand Theft Auto games, it was caused by entering a cheat into the game and then saving, causing errors in the game's crappy engine. But they fixed that with a completely new game engine in Grand Theft Auto IV. You should try deleting your game save data and game data, if that doesn't work then get a different copy of the game.

Does your cd have stripes on it, is it clean ?

 

I remember having this kind of problems with GTA III, the cd was dirty and full of stripes, so maybe that's the cause I guess.

That's because there are some files unreadable. Like in the PC version, you delete a part of the map, the game still works but that part simply isn't there anymore. Try cleaning you disc!

If it's a DRE, how is a PC version gonna be any different.

 

Try this:

Borrow a friends copy of the game, install THAT to hard drive, then use your copy only to start the game from the HDD. If there's a scratch on the disc that cud help...

Also clean you disc, with the correct cleaner (not a shirt tail lol). Do any other of your games have similar errors?

Cheats have NOTHING to do with it.Nor does the game's engine.

Delete game data+game save and see if that fixes it.

Do YOU even know what happens when you saved your game after entering a cheat in Grand Theft Auto II, Vice City and San Andreas?

This happened to me on my PS2 with The Godfather (Somehow, one of my idiot friends f'n chipped the circular part). Try wiping the back of the disk, like said (I can't remember what I did, but after I did it, my game worked perfectly. I was shocked, at that).

try this....start a new game (don't delete your previous savegames)....play until you can save,save in a different slot and then try and load your other savegame! hope it works!
