Like usual, I've end up on a summer holiday from the forums as well, so I apologize for past and future absence. Less talk, more music though, eh?

Despite the low tempo of playing, I've restarted Alan Wake for the third time, and even though this song (unlike another Poets Of The Fall song) is not featured in the game, this fits into the dark mood perfectly. Ever since it's release in '06, the song has been one of my local favorites.

It's finally official, Pimper's Paradise is my favorite Bob Marley song, and one of the few ones I'm yet to post here, so why not? Enjoy.

I think I found one of those artists who you just try to find a track you don't like.

Adam K and Soha. Anything these guys touch is gold:

I'm gonna spark up and listen to these guys' stuff later (especially Need to Feel Loved inlove.gif). I suggest you guys do the same. smile.gif

@Stuffedcheese: Glad you enjoyed the track that video is pretty awesome I think. I appreciate the feedback on the setlists as well.

@Sound & kipps: Thanks again, I really should attempt to put one together this next weekend.

@Sauron: I actually listened to your selections several times over the last week, great new stuff as always. I'd say PM me a few links to your favorite music sites but ya know.... tounge.gif

@Butters: I agree, that's a great flowing track spun by Warlord.

@Warlord: That's a great flowing track you spun, wouldn't you agree?

@Cheat: Right on time with that Looptroop and Gracias. My flavor of Hip Hop right there.

I just deleted a large chunk of forum history from my PM's just for you. I get a large portion my music from The Hype Machine, fantastic place to find new music.

I know a few of you have a keen interest in "Mash Ups" and this video has pushed Madeon into the public eye. The video has gathered a little over a million views in under two weeks and is a fantastic demonstration of a live mash up.

I've rediscovered Miami Horror's 2010 album Illumination and this is one of my favourite tracks. The entire album is fantastic and is definitely worth a look if you are into their style of music.

Ah! I was gonna post that as my debut post in this topic.

I have to say, anything by Edwin Van Cleef is just irresistibly catchy, here's his sound cloud:

And this song has gotten to be my favourite the past week:

Starting the Session 10 Setlist tomorrow, so watch for it soon.

@Vanilli: Yea, we def miss seeing you post, bro.

@Saury: That Madeon track was brilliant, listened to it several times over.

@Zak: AC, always a good way to go.

@Brad: Welcome. I checkout your link to Van Cleef's Soundcloud and enjoyed a lot of the mixes he posted there as well.

Legend does his thing on this cover.

Blaze up to this, you'll thank me.

One of my fav finds this week.

I've only discovered Miami Horror this year and they're fantastic. Holidays was the song that a friend recommended to me and I was instantly impressed. It takes real talent to turn a relatively simple, funky riff and create a great song from it. I feel inclined to check out the whole album after hearing Summersun now; quality track.

You had a chance to see them live yet, Sauron? They gave a good set here in June, even though they didn't have Kimbra or Alan Palomo to do their respective vox.

Mister Pink

@Xeon: Welcome back it's been a good while since we last saw ye. I can never get your name right when I send out the Setlists because you have some hidden character in your name.

@Cacti: My wife said that track reminded her of a track off Labyrinth. lol.

I was a bit unsure what she meant but then I did see the synthy similarities on certain parts.

@Skins: Always love some MF Doom or any one of his other ten personas.

@Sound: If you're a big K&D fan, as you seem to be, I assume you've listened to quite a bit of Thievery Corporation?

Ease back into the weekend here for a sec.

Moving forward.

Switch gears a bit.

I feel bad that I don't come here as often as I used to. Thank you meta for sending in those session setlists, and at the same time motivating me to step by this place.

I've really started to like reggae even more. Here's a track by Don Carlos that just puts me in a good mood.

Posted this song in the Electronic Music topic. This track just puts me in a really chipper mood, not sure why.

So yes, Session 10 and 11 Setlist have just come out. If I somehow missed you let me know. Thanks for your patience. People really submitted some great tracks over the last 10 pages so it's well appreciated and I didn't want you to think I'd given up on the Lounge, things have just been a bit hectic as of late. Hope it was worth the wait.

@ Scifen: I really like the offbeat piano intro at the beginning of that Nadia Ali track. Chick is porno star hot to boot.

@Warlord: I really liked Coldplay during their first two albums but I lost a bit of interest with the kind of lackluster, X & Y . I think they brought it back a bit with la Vida.

@Craig: All about that Tokimonsta track.

@Cheat: Big Radiohead fan but I think you know that already. sly.gif

@Guru: A little reggae is certainly welcome, makes me want to pack a b.

This is one of my favorite tracks off ROME, which you'll find a link to in your Session 11 setlist.

Just when I think I can't listen to even one more remix of this song, someone comes along and does a great job reinventing it.

A bit of dub to bring us back to the essence.

Hey guys, just got a new job lately so I've been working my arse off! Chilling out is well in order. Any of you guys use tumblr. at all btw? Started using it not so long ago and looking for blogs that ain't just Harry Potter sh*t and stupid questionnaires.

Been firing through my dad's Röyksopp CDs lately; totally spur of the moment but I'm now so glad I did. Can anyone recommend other acts who are in a similar vein?

A lot of people I know say they find the Pixies (this track in particular) rather depressing, but I'm not sure I believe that. I always found it more of a "daydreamy" track.

I was initially gonna post the original version by Mylo (Emotion 98.6) but I saw this remix in the video responses and thoroughly enjoyed it. Guy has done some other really interesting remixes, well worth checking out.
