Been a while for everyone, where the f*ck is meta?

The craziest thing happened, About 10 days ago I was out running an errand delivering something to someone when a group of thugs shot me in the head and left me for dead. A mysterious robot brought me to a doctor in a local town who nursed me back to health and I've been wandering around the Mojave wasteland this entire time seeking revenge and blasting everything I come across into bitesize pieces.

 

Good to see people have been holding it down in my absence.

 

@kippers: That sand art performance was amazing I watched the entire thing twice.

 

@Claude: Another great GTA III montage, crazy to hink it's been 9 years.

 

@Sound: The f*ck man you get to go and see two of my all time favotites in one week. Spoiled bastard.

 

@Rown: The wife and I immediately went out and bought the Kill Bill soundtrack after we saw it in the theater love the movie and the music featured in it.

 

@Cheat: Where have you been, man? Same place as me? Some great tunes dropped off here though.

 

@Jake: Matisyahu's got a special place in my heart. R.I.P. Mr. Isaacs,

 

@Straznicy: You really surprised me with a few seriously great tunes. That Burial was a real find though I'm definitely listening to more of them.

 

@KK: Liking that Kanye remix a lot.

 

@κενιη: I really liked the "I was a Teenage Anarchist Video". Dude seemed to be totally smiling at the end.

 

@LanceVance: Summer Madness is one of those timeless classics that's gotten a lot of play in here.

 

@Guru: The Heavy always remind me all over again how awesome they are when I hear a random track by them,

@Straznicy: I really liked that MC Soom. Not a lot of emcess can pull off bars and singing and sound legit but she pulls if off well. Also a lot of people will mess with the way a voice sounds or stretch out a sample just to get her tone with that cool sounding almost chipmunk like high voice. Very cool, hope she does more.

 

@Malfy: I was entirely about that baths track and video maybe the best thing I've listened to all week. Thanks.

@Maleficus, I sort of fell out of that bath track towards the end, but the beginning was great.

 

@Meta, So I hear you've got chronic Falloutitus. Well you were right about the harmonies in that Bon Iver song, but that funk mix at the end really got me. :41 all the way to the end was just plain funk-tastic.

 

 

Cat Stevens should be a familiar name. This guy is just amazing though, gets me every time I hear him.

Local band. Went from playing locally, to being asked to play a show in Sydney, where, by chance a rep from a major record label was at the show decided to sign them. They are currently touring the UK and the label wants them to play at the Reading Festival.

This gem is from Blondie's 1980 album Autoamerican.

 

 

"Rapture" became the first rap song not only to be released from the band but also the first ever to reach number one on the singles chart in the U.S. (it also reached no.5 in the UK)

 

And if I'm not mistaken doesn't this technically make Debbie Harry the first mainstream female rap artist, even though it's only one song?

 

On a side note, I personally think she's real f*ckin hot. I would do unspeakable things to her.
