I don't see why they can't give it too us. San Andreas had a mode where you were almost immortal, but not completely. I kind of like that, but god mod sounds a little too extreme. Then I rather have Dr. Manhattan mod, being the blue, naked, empty-eyed master of atoms. I haven't seen the next GTA so my opinion isn't any different than anyone else. But I mean GTA has never been trying to make a next God of War or Ratchet and Clank. So now that Saints Row tried to make another unrealistic/fun Gta and pushed the company into a different approach, its possible that a superhuman protagonist might be overlooked. That and having more fun. The complaint it takes away from the realism is moot because cheats aren't realistic to begin with. After all, it's not realistic to make an Annihilator appear from thin air by dialing a phone nunmber now is it? It's clear that my topic wasn't a complaint since I never shared thoughts of not "wanting" it there in the first place. Logically it would make sense for Rockstar not to add a "God mode", it just wouldn't feel the same. Grand Theft Auto is a parody or joke of America supposively as one might say, but if they were to implement a God mode would you still take Gta seriously? Would you still do what you always did in Gta? What would be the "point" of stealing a Suv and killing the guy in it if I could just magically fly like a unicorn back home? Yes, I do agree with you cheats are entirely "unrealistic". But cheats have been around since GTA III possibly before, I've never used cheats in Gta or Gta2 so I can't confirm that. But ever since III cheats have followed about the same pattern. Spawning vehicles, Weapons, Health and the change of weather. Many veterans would begin b*tching if it was taken away in IV so of course they added it. Now, if we don't add a God Mode fans are less likely to complain about something they never had and Gta as always could follow the same pattern. Sorry it just wouldn't make sense to me playing online especially and get shot by a Batman dude or Superman chick, or hearing people complain "why we able 2 fly en singpleyar but no multiplayerrrr". Also note adding a God Mode would take us back to San Andreas (jetpacks anyone?) and I don't think they want to go back there, I mean why'd they leave in the first place? Such as in GTA SA, 100 percent completion gives money, a tank, a hydra, and increased stats. That should be better. Being able to have hour long uninterrupted rampages. Why is there a super-punch cheat but no god mode? I vote for more cheats in general. They're just fun to goof around with.
