Chinatown Wars
Well, in my other thread it was titled Assasins Creed 3?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? and i hated the name so i changed it. Heres a quote from the latest GI (game informer)s GOOD BAD and UGLY section The assassins blade never rests. Ubisoft has already announced another all-new Assassin's Creed title starring AC ll's Ezio Auditore. The new game, which will be full priced, is scheduled to appear before March of next year, and will include a multiplayer component (Found by me) Links to proof http://www.psxextreme.com/ps3-news/6453.html http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=231616 http://www.gamasutra.com/php-bin/news_index.php?story=26794 http://www.computerandvideogames.com/artic...CVG-General-RSS Thanks to ryanhunter_rfc Enjoii Seddo for the links Please talk about AC3, and what you want in it. Jonny_Tightlips
Apparently this new title isn't even going to be Assassin's Creed III, but a spinoff from II (since it's apparently in Roma with Ezio.) I'll check for news updates and other sh*t to keep up. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/440632-assassins-creed-3/#findComment-1059778205 Share on other sites
RomanViking
I doubt this Assassins Creed 2.5 (wit MULTIPLYERZ!!!1) will impress me in the slightest. But after that crap, when they're actually going for a real sequel; I want them to go back and get the basics right. Achieve what's in the demo video for AC1: The camera is close, the controls intuitive, the city is crowded. The action intense and crazy. Also, after you kill a target in the current Assassin's Creed, Ezio and Altair spends 30 seconds having a heart to heart talk & holding them in his arms while they die --- but in the demo video he just kills him and GTFO of there, he doesn't stick around and chat, and then take samples of their blood! He GTFO of there! Just achieve what's in the demo video, and stop focusing so much on history lessons. AC2 seemed to have some compelling stuff, but that's not why those old scans for original AC interested me: They made me interested because it looked like Hitman, if 47 were a ninja in ancient times and climbed buildings and killed people brutally with swords. ------------------------------------ In short, Assassin's Creed never delivered on the original premise, and now they're going way off course rather than working to get the original premise right. simonp92
^That is not a demo of AC1, that is a trailer. Trailers are always better than the game.. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/440632-assassins-creed-3/#findComment-1059779980 Share on other sites
RomanViking
Gee thanks for correcting my english terms, I know that's not actual gameplay -- but a CGI target-video trailer thingy. The point is, they're on the second game, now working on a third, and it's as if they don't care about achieving that anymore. They just want to do another open-world fantasy adventure almost like Zelda. I'd rather they focused and got the action/chasing part right --- made the controls better, brought the camera closer (or offered more than one camera view) and got the original premise right. ----------------------------------------- Don't just comment on one sentence, then ignore everything else I wrote! Yes it's a trailer, yes I get it, trailers are usually more exciting than the actual game --- but they're talking about a THIRD game and they haven't even tried fulfilling the original idea! They're off adding flying machines and epic storylines, yet sword fights are still hopelessly dull --- and I still cannot consistently leap thru the air and knife a guy as I land on him (like a ninja). simonp92
My comment was 2 sentences. I think AC2 was an amazing improvement from AC1 so im not complaining. But im not gonna buy AC3 if we are playing as ezio again. Make something new, Ubisoft!! JonnyVercetti
I'd like to see Desmond finnally become the master assassin, find more of his fellow assasins and eventually destroying Abstergo. Maybe Vidic gets all the Pieces of Eden and becomes a major threat to the Assasins and only Desmond is strong enough to destroy Vidic. I'd also like the whole idea of having a 'creed' back like in AC1, In AC2 you werent part of an assassin society you was just a man with swords, knives and a gun avenging your family in a white outfit. Ofcourse Ubisoft will have to work their way around having guns, it would ruin the feel if an assassin was running around with a M4A1 or a Bazooka everywhere. From what I remember from the first AC is that both the controls and the camera actions are exactly the same as AC2. Have you actually played AC2? I mean, all of the cities you're allowed to be in actually have very crowded areas and very little crowds in each part of the cities. And I don't know what you call intense action, but AC2 pretty much delivered for the crazy ass action with intense moments. I'm pretty sure the reason you're stuck talking to the people you've just assassinated is so that they can continue with the storyline and make you think maybe you shouldn't have killed him and make you question what you've done. If both Ezio and Altiar were to piss off after every killing then you really wouldn't have much clue about what the hell was going on with the story. I mean I don't know about anybody else but both stories in each game were confusing as hell. AC2 was pretty much a big old history lesson rolled into a game. But they actually give you the option to check that sh*t out or ignore it. Stumbled upon the start menu and see all of the little buildings/areas that give you some history on them? You have to option to ignore that. I'm not going to lie though, some of the control aspects were a little annoying at times while playing but I mean not so annoying that I gave up with the game. Personally, AC2 was a big step up in all the right areas from the first game and I'm glad they really took the time to sort it out. Although with the whole MP side of things with AC3, it could either make or break the series. Although there is always the option to not play the MP part if they keep the single player as good as the second game. FullMetal
I only played the first AC so far and I liked it... apart from the two MAJOR FLAWS that seriously f*cking rape this game to bits. 1) The goddamn f*cking 'OH MEMORY IS GENETICZ JUST LIEK ANIMALS' is f*cking lame. On top of that; the 'future?' setting or let's say 'high tech' modern day levels are boring as f*ck. I'm not even interseted in how the technology is. This is probably only me but I hate it to bits and it destroys the mood/atmosphere that the game carefully built with all the 'REAL' missions. 2) Repetetive gameplay. It's great to have such freedom, the combat is awesome and feels great, the different things you can do (interrogation/...) before you actually start your main mission are also fun... BUT NOT TIME AND TIME AGAIN. It's f*cking ridiculous. On top of that: if there was some chatter that would variate from time to time and character models that would look differently it wouldn't be that bad... but most of the times you SAVE the EXACT SAME DUDE/WOMAN over and over again saying the same lame ass lines ('I WISH MY SONS WERE AS BRAVE AS YOU/I'M SURE TO TELL THE WHOLE CITY ABOUT YOUR ACTIONS'). I'm glad I got this game for 2 eurodollars... for that money it's a brilliant game. You'd have wasted your money if you payed the full price or more than 2 eurodollars for this game. I'm afraid to check out the second one eventhough people say it's a huge improvement over the original one. I'll probably get it when it's much cheaper or 'borrow' it from a friend... JonnyVercetti
I bought AC when it first came out for £40, I should've waited for it to get cheaper. But it's not a terrible game its fun, but repetitive. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/440632-assassins-creed-3/#findComment-1059787026 Share on other sites
