This is amazing! Im beyond glad to see this mod continue. I wish i could help in some way. I have some great high resolution pics from ground level of almost every angle of the hotel (sadly the pics were taken during 9/11, so there is fire on the ground) if you want them and some of the car port at the rear of tower 1. Hope theres a release soon

 

Oh and i just remembered, has the flickering bug been fixed?

I couldnt find any good ones , all i ever got was WarnerBros store , and few blueprints notinh else

im not sure if it helps but i already have a world trade center complex model in sketchup

most things were made with the blueprints of each buildings

maybe you could use some as a guide

a friend of mine made it and i made a few modifications and addons

Although I have a question... Maybe it was answered before, I'm not sure, although I can't use this WTC mod: http://wtciv-mod.tk/

I think my version (1.0.7.0) of GTA4 PC is incompatible with the mod.

from what it looks like from ,my view is that the concourse mall looks simple...ima try to model it

 

btw I don't understand how the "1" and "2" signs (in front) sometimes appear glowing red, when they really look like this:

the grey signs were changed in 1998 when the plaza was rerenovated.model the mall but please use my map as a reference.i modeled the map using the real mall map.Also GTARandom and HBX I got a cool idea for 6 WTC.since city hall got sacrificed I was thinking maybe 6 WTC could be the new City Hall.

Hi all !

I haven't posted for a while... To be honest I was too lazy to answer...

 

First, thank you for the pictures, GTARandom will now begin to model some shops !

And yes ViceDiaz your map will be used !

 

 

 

2nd thing, I made an installer for the WTC mod so the installation will be a lot more simple and faster ! In 20sec the mod will be installed !

me likes the model random....but the textures uck

 

for burgershot use the DEFAULT IV textures for it... it will look good

the cafe is good just the wall texture isnt that great looks too clean and tiled. try looking for a wallpaper look for that cafe

The WTC Mall is suppose to look clean.when the trade center was still standing,they took great care of the place.gta random will most likely put hq textures when he fully finishes the mall model.i can't believe i came up with a good design for the mall.

We are now tomorrow...

 

I wanted to release something, so

I am proud to introduce the WTC 0.11 !!

 

This version will include a few new cool updates :

 

- The towers look way better by far !! Here some comparaisons before/after :

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

- No more annoying error message when you close GTA IV :

 

 

- The mod uses now its own files ! So no more bugs with the Liberty Island and-->

 

 

- The mod is a lot lighter ! Its size is now about 5 Mo instead of 40 !

 

- It will use the brand new installer, just 3 clics and the mod is installed !

 

- We will MAYBE add night lights on the towers, but IT ISNT SURE. GTARandom and me are working on it.

 

- Maybe some new things...

 

This release should be available this week, on wednesday or sunday...

No collisions until V0.2 ! And the plaza has nothing special ! And It isn't white...
