3D Structure, is it okay you can use his observation deck model to WTC 0.4 version?

I've got the models textured, and mapped/placed (according to the wtc 0.3 location of the wtc) but gims iv export is not exporting the new scaled down version right

 

But the collision is perfect.....

 

Any Ideas? I'll keep trying though! can't wait to see it ingame

I've got it to export correctly! i must have done something wrong that time... woops!.... i'll get a ingame pic here soon

i really do hope it gets into v0.4 Probably the reason why it wasn't in 0.3 because i didn't have it made yet lol

But since i got it working, i have lots of things i want to make for the wtc! I guess you can say i have a collection of pre 9/11 wtc pictures and there is several things i want to make using the pictures as a reference

 

Here is one i really want to see in the game... the "peace on earth" letters

well, i could, but i can't get the wtc properly imported in 3ds max through gims. the wtc2.img works fine, the plaza.imgl imports half way the gives me an error, mariot.img works, but isn't rotated correctly, and when i try to import the wtc1.imgl, 3ds max freezes, then locks up my entire computer.... and im running a quad core with 8gb ram with a gts 450. No idea whats happening there.

Hi guys this is my first post on gtafourms I have used this site for years since gtaIV came out and I have been following this mod since its beginning. From what I recently have just read it seems that the original author of this mod lost his computer and all his data devoted to this mod and decided to give up on it. When I read this today I immediately was sure I still had a copy of his original work AKA WTC 0.3, as I suspected I was correct, I had an archive with just WTC 0.3 in it in one of my old gta mod folders. I am for once glad I am a pack rat when it comes to modding. I hope these files help you guys progress to WTC 0.4 keep up the great work!

NBA_FAN, WTC 0.4 is progressing very well, it has so much improvements from the 0.3.

 

3dstructures is making this mod awesome! I love his progress so far. .

I´m so happy that the wtc mod is still alive. It´s the best mod out there for GTA IV...

 

I´ve got a little question for you: Are there some "guests" in the restaurant (windows on the world) in version 0.4? That would be cool because the WTC has to be full of life etc.

 

And another question: Please, don´t missunderstand me but is it possible to break the windows in the restaurant? It would be cool for basejumping or some action stunts.

Hello everyone.

 

work on 0.4 is moving ahead fastly. but time is consumming allot on the details like the 107th floors antenna mall and the outdoor deck.

in order to get a release on 9/11 those parts wil be released later. 0.4 wil have the new complex layout new towers. etc.

 

we need more people with coding etc. to get this done very good.

if al works out well. the release after 0.4 wil follow a week later.

 

i hope you all understand this.

You'll get a full feature list when we release the 0.4 mod. Just be patient!

already we're talking about things to fix, I would suggest a couple of things to be reviewed for version 0.4. (in addition to those you already mentioned from you)

 

it would be nice if you could improve the area under the north tower, on West st.(Where now in the mod, there are the parkings and the red sculpture).

In the game, is very inconvenient to enter and impossible to get out with the car.

 

review this too.

 

Another thing, would be nice if in the restaurant and in the bar in the tower, Niko can to eat and drink like in others places. Maybe also have only a bit of people in the restaurant to avoid giving the feeling of place ghost. In my opinion it would be great and it could do. let me know your oppinion about it.
