That may be one of those map bugs that forum from modding the map. Ive seen a cuple of those. One time an object became a hot dog stand that worked.

one time i just went crazy installing hundreds of racing track mods and there was buildings lods hundreds of meters in the air and everything else stuffed up so i uninstalled them all and it fixed them up.

hbx thats very sad to hear about your grand mother died.

also nice work on the steel columns in the wow restaurant and fixing the roads.

Whats up with this pic. It looks a little empty to me. There is no Maryot, Id think the corner of WTC 2 would be in veiw. It looks like parts of the WTC complex were taken out of New York and its a copy of it some where else. Even the bulding thats west of the WTC is not there, and WTC 01, and the plaza look small to me. Could someone explain?

Yeah it looks really weird. I'm guessing this is in the 1970s, just after the opening. Also, from the looks of it, there's definitely no marriot yet (obviously) and no world financial center which is why it's so empty behind WTC1. Also, and this might be a hunch, but it looks like WTC 4 and 5 haven't been made yet either since they would be on either side of the stairs shown in that picture. WTC2 would literally be an inch outside of the frame of the picture. A very interesting photo indeed.

 

Here's another picture taken in 1978 that's similar. Now you can see why people hated the whole complex. It was bland, boring, barren and intimidating. It really got better in the 1980s-1990s when they added chairs, music and kiosks.

If I did they would be of 0.2 which has the more empty plazza. I was thinking I could do like I did for 0.2 for 0.3. Hbx would have to send me the files and then I would be able to do the screens. But its his choice. If he does not want the screens taken, or wants to wait till he has more progress done then thats fine. Its up to him because its his modification.

It's hard to believe that the WTC only had a short life.

It was first opened to the public on April 4th 1973 and then closed down (destroyed) on September 11th 2001.

 

It was only roughly 28 years old.

one of the builders of the wtc in some video on youtube cant remember what its called but he said to his son when he built the towers "son the twin towers will stand for 1000 years"

 

its very sad that the towers stood for only 28 years and now there building 4 buildings that just show total dis respect to the 9/11 victims and have nothing in common to the twin towers

Leslie E. Robinson, engineer designer of the WTC said that the Twin Towers could last 500 years.if they werent destroyed.

As much as I would like the towers to be rebuilt exactly how they were, it's good that they aren't. Imagine if you witnessed 9/11 in person, and you had to walk past those towers everyday. People who witnessed 9/11 in person still have vivid dreams about it 10 years on and I don't think they will ever stop dreaming about it :S

 

The Empire State Building was only hit by a small propelled aircraft so didn't cause too much damage. The wtc was built to withstand a 707 collision. Unfortunately, modern planes are a lot faster now and sliced through the tower like a knife through butter

Yes, I would agree. But I hear people say that the new WTC will be like an improved one, that will be about as tall as the original towers. But Ive heard that they may make the old WTC complex but in a different location.

they are technical service floors.Its where the electricaians for the WTC were housed.

Of the 110 floors, eight were set aside for technical services. All the remaining floors were free for open-plan offices. Each floor of the towers had 40,000 square feet of space for occupancy. Each tower had 3.8 million square feet of office space. Altogether the entire complex of seven buildings had 11.2-million square feet of space.
