Euclides
Hi all, I have bought GTA IV a month ago and i started editting some cars.. Now when i enter my game and i drive a bid with a modded car (not always the same car) i get the error: SMPA60.. I just wanted to know how to remove all my mods and get the normal gta IV cars back in the game? I can do this with removing the vehicles.ide and reinstall the game? Or how can i uninstall the mods and drive with normal cars again?? Thanks (my idea was to remove the files and just restore it at the software screen , just reinstall the game by entering the 2 discs , i thought that it would restore it , but i wait before i try that , cause i don't know what can happen)

xsisT
This program program should do the thing: http://www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=6465 Otherwise ask a friend to send u the required files, vehicles.img/handling.dat etc...
MadcapSmoky22
No don't do it yet! This basicly happens when having too much cars installed, the game is starting to crash after few of minutes, because basicly, in controlmap.dat file, they aren't stored only keys configuration, but also how the game should load all models, their ID's etc...you need to delete it, and then you won't have crashes. This however works only if you're using offline account/xliveless/xlive wrapper. So basicly, delete ControlMap.dat file from: C:\Documents and Settings\YourUsername\Moje dokumenty\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\savegames BTW, if you want to play the game with default cars again why won't you just reinstall it? MadcapSmoky22
WTF? Is this your first computer game or did you just got your Windows OS today? I mean...the dumbest question I ever heard...of course you need to choose remove. Then, install the game again.
