Lemus 91
I'm in it for the online play. Not as interested for the story anymore. Seems every time i try to appreciate the campaign i get bored after the first few missions and constantly thinking "Is this damn thing almost over?" Hasn't been eye catching or interesting after COD4.
Gezim
Same sh*t as MW2. lol I couldn't care less about the campaign/story. The only thing I'm least looking forward to is the MP. And of course, no zombies is a huge downer for me. Spec Ops is just not my thing. Not sure if I'm going to buy this. Too many other better games are coming out around fall. But who knows, fall is a long way ahead but they'll have to really impress me for a $60 purchase.
Jackal1337
Spec Ops is just not my thing. well its truly anyones, most of people just did it for trophies lol and i might play Spec Ops in MW3 more if they finally would have ability to SEARCH for second player, it was just retarded to play either alone or try inving friend 100 times cos they hate Spec Ops
FullMetal
Attention to detail? What? Recycling tons of old models and skins and altering them a little but and adding here and there small new additions... failing at creating decent magazines (in the beginning the 'main person' gets thrown a magazine and he puts it in his M4... funny enough it was a magazine like box thing with no open end that feeds and has visible 5.56 rounds in it). Looked horrible to me, anyone who got excited because of the graphics and 'epic storyline' was probably one of the ones who thought Black Ops' and Modern Warfare's storylines were probably the best among videogames. AreXi
Spec Ops is just not my thing. well its truly anyones, most of people just did it for trophies lol Spec Ops was fun as f*ck if you had the right person to play it with. But that goes for every co-op game there is, so I don't know why I brought that up...
Jake
Trailer was action packed and whatever. I'm in it for the multiplayer. I'm going to be getting MW3, BF3, and Skyrim, so basically this is just going to be a good time over all.
Guest
The trailer is absolutely Amazing! The graphics look outstanding; especially of NYC. Now this is truly Modern. And of course, no zombies is a huge downer for me. Spec Ops is just not my thing. I play the story and get into it on every game except COD, i prefer battlefield, but i do enjoy playing cod MP now and again, i could care less about the story, why play against a bunch of computers doing some campaign i don't care about when i can play online. Zombies? Meh never used the feature, looked like just another gimmick, and infinity ward never used zombies if i remember right? Thats treyarchs thing. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I was hoping on destructible buildings but i don't see it happening. Sunrise Driver
Graphics sucks, CoD2 engine is old enough, the whole game is obviously scripted. And people are still waiting for this crap. Even Shadow Harvest is better than this.
tuareg
In it for the MP mostly. Although if IW didn't get their sh*t together regarding the MP then i don't know. Maybe i'm better off popping MW2 in every now and again. Kind of interested in the story as well though. I'm too easily amused and even though the trailer didn't show anything we haven't seen before i still want to see what goes on with Soap and Price. Just don't make half of the game out of scripted events. I'll probably get this along with BF3.

The-King
I am thoroughly unimpressed by that trailer, now they're just grasping at gimmicks in a really blatant way. I'd be disappointed by their lack of creative forethought if it were any other game by any other publisher. Also, I agree with Street Mix, the graphics are fairly sh*t; they haven't even bothered getting a new engine since developing the first CoD. Still using that sh*tty, old, modified Quake engine. Call of Duty is the new Madden, except more people are disillusioned by it's pretty explosions and exciting set-pieces. |PropagandaIncorporated:|: Steam:|: DeviantArt:|: Last.FM|

What you're trying to say is that the franchise has become so dumbed down, mainstream, overrated and overhyped golden turd to a once perfect mix of 'semi realism and fun' with a good and enjoyable singleplayer campaign that took you some time to finish and a incredible online experience that got expanded with patches and a brilliant expansion pack for a nominal fee (with even more patches for the original and expansion that got maps for free?). Just my few cents...

KilnerLUFC
The reason this game is getting so much hate is the fact that you all know it's going to be one of the biggest selling games of the year, no matter how old the graphics engine is or whatever. Admittedly, am only getting this game 'cos it comes out near my birthday, plus am hoping they pull the MP off, although that's still debateable due to IW now doing it now. Am just hoping that MP sees some new team modes added, stopping these annoying kids just caring about their own points and levelling up. You throw a care package marker down and suddenly everyone surrounds you to try and steal it...one guy even blocked me in a corner to try and stop me getting my crate. My point was, although they've done a sh*t job on MW3, such as not upgrading the engine or whatever, it pisses you off that they don't seem to care because they know it will sell. Thing is, am a sucker for games like this. It could be sh*t as hel, but as long as the MP has some good action then it's sold for me.
Knife
You know what's more tiresome than CoD being the same every year? The comments about it being the same every year. I'm sure if I dig up the MW2 topic I'd find the same people saying the same things. Serious de-ja-vu on many of these posts. They are valid points, the biggest criticism of CoD is the lack of evolution between games. But for f*cks sake, we've heard all those complaints before. Don't act like you were expecting anything different this time 'round. You're welcome to air those comments, but I'm f*cking bored by them. vertical limit
I just watched the reveal trailer and ITS f*ckING AMAZING sorry for the caps there. I am deffinately buying this game and judging from the trailers, we are going to drive various vehicles. I do hope hope we get better weapons because the ones in Back Ops were just terrible and I bet you, multiplayer maps will feature NYC, Lonodon and other places. These are the Call of Duty games I played. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. Call of Duty Black Ops. These are the Call of Duty only games I played but seeing you guys saying that Call of Duty Modern Warfare is the best one of the series, I might buy it. Here is the link to the reveal trailer to those who haven't seen it. http://www.callofduty.com/mw3/videos/reveal
Tommy-Vercetti19
Don't understand why people are moaning about it? More than likely Activision commenced work right after MW2 and not to mention all that trouble with them and IW. You don't have to play if you don't want to. More than likely the next CoD will be running on some new tech. I think it looks good, love the idea that we'll be fighting in big built urban areas. Guest
love the idea that we'll be fighting in big built urban areas. Exactly! I especially can't wait to battle in New York City! Modern Warfare gets more modern every time. I don't really care if they haven't changed the engine, because the older engines weren't that bad anyway. Toup
These are the Call of Duty games I played. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. Call of Duty Black Ops. T You played the worst of them? More than likely the next CoD will be running on some new tech. People just don't like the fact that the series is being milked to death and has a short singleplayer with a terrible story (cool action, I'll admit) with unbalanced multiplayer. Not to mention the $15 map packs that were previously free. I also doubt they will update the tech because people will buy it anyway. That's the thing that people hate about CoD; it's not just a situation of 'don't buy it'. The power is in the hand of Activition and not the consumer yet people just let it happen. If you have fun with CoD it's no concern of mine though, but just imagine how much better it could be
Knife
As Activision sees it, there's no reason for them to spend the time & money on a new engine because it wouldn't sell any more copies of the game (or not enough to be worth it). But they need to consider it soon, because people will eventually get bored and if they've got any sense they wont milk it dry when they can easy keep it fresh and keep it selling. Robinski
They'll be saving a new engine and stuff like that for when they finally go for one year without releasing a game, only to use it in the inevitable "reboot" the following year. With people thinking "Wow I haven't played a new Call of Duty game for ages!" it'll be snapped up.

Just my few cents... YEAH TAKE THE LEMONS! YEAHHH!! YEAHHH! BURN HIS HOUSE DOWN! FIGHTING PEOPLE !!! HE SET THE WORLD THINKING! We should regroup the standard gamers for a sweet REVENGE LEMONADE at their doorstep headquarters!! We should fight for your human rights. The same goes for the old first Medal of Honors with the last one released. The same as the others Call of Duty MW, in this one, the entire gameplay will be constructed, again by those cutscenes where you climb a wall, help your partner with your hand 10 time in a roll in one single mission, kill someone in some fatality way, considering yourself a PRO now or experienced gamer. God, in this days any kid loves these games, just to shoot like a random inexperienced gamer and playing mutliplayer with exaggerated weapons killed by one shot or knives with lasers thrown from miles of way like some kind of super power on small imperfect spawn maps. The same as everybody said in the last posts, the still use the old engines, the reason of why this series are out year by year. Don't know why are going into this direction, but it's easier for them now compare with what was back then. I'm sure is just for the money profit, in a new era of electronics & devices for more audience & rating, the same how the movies are going in this days (the magical green screen). Maybe the young people are enjoying this, but I think they forgot how it was when an 18-30 year PRO gamer asked for a good elegant game. Is me or in the trailer I see the character models with the same color clothes and armory from MW2? Edited May 24, 2011 by -BLITZ-
