I'll be rightly pissed if this is just Modern Warfare 2: Part 2. They better have a 'game' up their sleeves and not just a remix. The last 3 CoD games have been a remix of CoD4, have they not? It has gotten to the point where it is just 'another one of those cod games,' yet I still buy them for some reason. When I first played cod4 it was amazing, unlike anything I'd ever played before. But by the time I got to MW2, the novelty had worn off. To be quite frank, it gets boring when they release the same game every year, only to change the title. Hopefully MW3 will mix up things a little bit, and bring a few new aspects to the game. It'd be interesting if they set the campaign in an entirely different setting and refrained from using the typical America VS Russia scenario. I'd be more interested in seeing just one full length match of anything in multiplayer from different players of the dev team. No point in showing any of the campaign. Still tho some of us are staying away from the leaked info (me for example) so the "reveal" is intriguing... The only funny thing is that its almost like clockwork that a CoD video will be during either the Eastern Conference Finals or Western Conference Finals every year lol... I doubt the team know nothing about the 'leaked' information on the web, and since around 90% of people will have already read it all by now, I see this maybe revealing something entirely new. I'm all for an MP based first reveal (if it IS a step up), but i'm almost entirely sure that's not going to happen. Especially because they're (even if poorly) trying to put emphasis on the storyline. I think the leak will result in something worthwhile though. Maybe a slightly longer reveal/story trailer? I prefer old style sniping to the rubbish snap aim on Modern Warfare 2. I don't mind using snipers with variable zoom attachments in Black Ops at all, either. Man, back in the day of CoD games all you had was a simple basic Springfield and K98 with a horizontal and vertical line crossing each other on a zoomed scope. And that was fun sh*t. KilnerLUFC Posted May 20, 2011 Share Posted May 20, 2011 Some more FB updates: We can expect Modern Warfare 3 to have Spec Ops missions like the previous game however it looks like a new co-op game mode might also be included. This new mode will be Survival Mode according to Product-Reviews who believe the new mode will be a cross between Zombies and Horde Mode. Information posted on the MW3blog seems to suggest that there will be 6 Survival Mode maps. Product-Reviews believes the six maps to be Carbon, Dome, Mission, Radar, Seatown, Survival and Village and that you will be taking on real enemies instead of zombies.
